I wouldn't be too excited about the Solo thing through Asda or any other way . My daughter , at my request applied in February to buy me a share for my birthday . I got the first part a simple frame at an additional fee of £14 ( I think ) but still haven't got my share.
Not the quickest way , nor the cheapest way to become a share holder . I just wanted to be able to say I was a shareholder and get all the information twice a year that shareholders are entitled to receive .

aye, I would'nt imagine it to be treated in the same way as going through other avenues of purchasing shares. Just couldn't believe it when I first saw it lol

Am I right in saying that's just one share? If it is that's awful, the Celtic share price is at around 75p for 1 and you can get a certificate aswell

Positive thats for one share, just another way to make money for these places. You serious though 75p? What a rip off man, mind you they are selling of pieces of the old pitch for about 50 quid at the moment so what do you expect eh:smiley-laughing002:

Yep, prices currently around 75.5p - 77p per share. Defo wouldn't waste your time on the Asda thing - you're paying for the novelty stuff that goes along with, not to mention profit margins of each company involved in that transaction. Best to google it, or speak to someone in the know.

I will check my share certificate but I am pretty sure it says celtic fc not the holding company plus when the bold fergus did these shares in 1995 or 1996 I paid £3.28 a share now the are only worth about 70 lol but I get my accounts twice a year from them

Have they not done a share re-issue and given you a larger number of shares just at a lower price per share?

Celtic share price hasn't changed much for quite a while . No matter , how few or how many shares you buy , you will have to go through a stock broker who will charge you a fee per share subject to a minimum fee . I was prepared to pay " Solo" price or more accurately my daughter was , it's the delay in actually getting the share is the problem or the fiddle .
