We are years off assembling a squad that will qualify for the Champs League group stages. Will we ever see another VVD, Hooper, Wanyama or Forster at this club?

I think it was the managers fault mate, he didn't play Commons from the start and the Icing on the Cake for me was Kayal being took off and that * stain Mulgrew allowed to stay on...I do agree with you on the players you mentioned being awful.

It's hard to calm it when there's so much to be angry about !

Your right tho Bayern or Real or even Chelsea could literally put 8 or 9 past us..

So let's see how Deila gets on now we know our level.. The blessing is we might have struggled to get into EL if we had a play off. :shamrock:

Seems like we are always in a 'transitional' period, lack of investment, and glaringly bad decisions made by the hierarchy have caused this, and turned us into a Europa league outfit

You lost with Maribor. At home.

For * sake, don't boil it down to an almost irrelevant choice between who to sub and who to keep on the pitch.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, from what I remember you lost the goal when Commons WAS on the pitch, yes?

I assume you think that Commons not playing in the first half had an impact on Celtic losing the goal in '75?

Come on, it's much bigger than that. You were really bad against Legia, you were bad against Maribor.

If you think that changing the coach and 1-2 players will suddenly turn everything into unicorns and butterflies then you're dead wrong.

Think the comment about Charlie Mulgrew is out of order. Regardless of his showing tonight. Out of order.

Ok. Jury's out on Ronny. He's getting away with it because he's new. However he said, he thought a lot about this game, the team, set up and tactics. So if he is serious about what he said then we are in for a serious amount of pain.......and who sent out Johansen, the man who blocked a certain goal in Maribor and fell over when he was 1:1 with goalie? Since when did he become the voice of Celtic?

    What a lot of pish!

We have been knocked out the Champions League TWICE off teams we should be comfortably humping. In what way could we embarrass ourselves any more than we already have.

I also have a horrible feeling we will be shown up in the Europa league. Maribor are hardly a CL team. Neither are Legia.

Who are we actually capable of beating in the Europa? Would you put your wages on us?

We are going through a massive change. A new manager, new style and no doubt players out and in. We'll need to be patient now

I'd go with Manchester United and whichever team Mr Moyes is currently managing.

    This.

People are moaning about the standard of player we are signing. Does anybody seriously think the list revenue and exposure will somehow improve this?

I wouldn't be surprised if either the Mubarak or Scepovic deal fell through in the next few days.

    * calm ,how about buying a few decent players or not selling any decent players we find after looking in the bargin bin . hiring a manager who has a bit of experience behind him and fit to manage a club the size of ours.

    Seek solace elsewhere.

I honestly wish we weren't parachuting in to this tournament.

The realisation required for some fans would require such a position.

The focal point, the fundamental issue we have is the detrimental strategy the current board have in place.

This tournament merely acts as a distraction for some fans unwillling to accept, or maybe can't visualise, the ransom fans are being held with.

Geez aw yer money, time and passion and we'll take, take, take and return pish!

Seriously speaking, even if you reach the final, it might not be even close to a blessing, quite the opposite actually.

The final will be played in Warsaw. It could turn to * for your travelling supporters, unfortunately.
