If we were to play our best 11 with Henderson in it would we be any worse?how good could this kid be?

Keep him and drip feed him into the first team. He has too much potential to trust someone else to nurture one of our brightest talents. When McGregor went out on loan it was with a view to him not returning, we got lucky.

Listen the post I question had raised the point of loan players at Celtic when he and everyone else posted about Celtic loaning out players . So what ails you .

How do you know everyone else disagrees with me . There has been only a very small % of members of this forum who have contributed to the debate .
Even if others disagree the reason we have a forum is to have a debate . Maybe you would be good enough Maguire to give me a list of the players apart from McGregor who have been loaned out in the last 12 years and who have come back to have a good career with Celtic . All I am asking is for someone who obviously feels he/she is smarter than me is give me my list and I if it reminds me of a number of ex loanees I have forgotten about , then I admit I am wrong .

Not the answer to our problems at all at the minute, and doesn't deserve a place in the team yet just because he's young and Scottish. Game time throughout the season? Maybe. A regular place in the team with Kayal, Johansen, Mulgrew and Biton in front of him? No chance.

I'd have him in my midfield ahead of Mulgrew that's for sure and arguably Johansen at the moment. And who knows how Kayal will fare this season, he's shown flashes of being back to his best but he did that in games last season as well and he faded away after a few poor games. The fact he's young and Scottish shouldn't even come into it, he's shown he's good enough to play in the league anyway and a consistent run in the team could be the making of him. Don't know why we should be so wary of blooding youngsters into the team, especially when they're clearly good enough and in some cases, better fitted than what we have at the moment.

    Have to disagree.

If the board refuse to invest the best thing RD can do is put his faith in the promising young players who are our best chance of getting top players in our team.

I would definitely have him in the team in front of Mulgrew who offers nothing in midfield

    Johansen - Kayal - Henderson.

Should be our Midfield till Broony gets back, Hendo is defo good enough to play SPFL, no point holding him back, get him games under his belt before his progression stalls and he turns into another 'what could have been'.

I'd have him ahead of Mulgrew who's far too slow for a midfield place. liked the look of Henderson last season! Whatever happened to that Atajic boy? he also looked quite promising in some of the youth teams games

That's a shame, he looked promising! Hopefully we can actually develop a few more home grown talents that actually break the first team

Give him a run in place of Kayal or Mulgrew.

I don't think he's the answer. Offers very little in my opinion, and just looks like another Mulgrew in midfield.

He's a really good playet and I have confidence that he'll get game time.

Give him games and see what he can do. Made a good impression last season. Not scared to take the ball even when everyone is having a mare as witnessed against Inverness.

He needs first team football to progress, if he is not gonna get that here he needs to be loaned out so he can get games.

Funnily enough, I thought he was one of the worst players in a very poor team against Inverness.
