Anyone else that shaves the good old way?

With straight razor/safety razor, lather brush & shaving soap?

I only shave my head, and my skin got really * up by using those * gillette razors from the super market, so i ordered (about 2 months ago) a wetshaving starter pack for about 50£ and jesus christ its good. Smooth as a babies *. If anyone are interested in this, i really recommend safety razors with double edged single blades.

I just got finished with a wet shave myself. Forgot my normal cartridge razor and had to borrow my dad's set while I was visiting my parents one time. Never looked back. Love it.

You need to get yourself a headblade mate.

Honestly it sounds like it'd take way too much time. I can pop into the bathroom every other day and have a quick shave as it is, I don't have the time or patience to have a big massive ritual to take a few whiskers off my chin. :smiley-laughing002:

I love the ritual. Probably wouldn't shave otherwise. :smiley-laughing002:

    How i feel aswell.

You wont get a closer and cleaner shave then with a straight or safety razor. And its not only that, your skin will feel great from the soap etc.

Got one oh they headblades, the blades are * unless you change to a Gillette one with adapter. I want to try a de razor, but i get the odd spot on my head and wont it be more likely to slice it off, leaving me looking like i had a fight with a tiger?

Started shaving my head this summer to try and get the tan all over look rather than what i normally have...tan top and white sides after hair cut.:52:
But im finding it hard work with gillette and the throw away heads....1 head per shave.:38:

Should i try the safety razor will i get better results and do they last longer....is there a higher risk of cuts...??? do the blades cost more that others....???
