my opinion: a true celt doesn't want to join the huns. he actually wanted to join them, but motherwell refused the fee. it's pathetic because he ain't a true celt, he plays for the money, simple as that. we can go on an argue over nothing forever, but that's my opinion and I stand to that.

 

He wanted to join Rangers because Celtic hadn't showed an interest in him.

Obviously he would want to move away from Motherwell and if a big club come in for you, you will go no matter who.

 

Since when is the 2nd or even 3rd best spl club a big club?

 

Compared to Motherwell , Hibs are a big club

Rangers supporter as a boy tore down the posters in his room when Celtic came a calling . I'm sure he would have signed for Rangers if they wanted him. Once you pull the hoops on in my eyes you are a Celt.

What is there to forgive? He was a professional footballer playing for motherwell against celtic and all he done was what he was being paid to do, beat the opposition whether its celtic gretna eastfife or real * madrid.

Like many others I agree the wee guy was just doing his job and if it hadn't been him it would likely have been someone else who scored against us.....we were obviously no great shakes.

I like him and I have a feeling that by the time he's finished we will all love him. I don't care who he supported as a boy because once he pulled on the hoops his life changed irreversibley. For such a little guy he's brave and he plays with the sort of passion and commitment that we all want to see from a true Celt.....it's even possible that he may go on to become a legendary goal scorer for us.

He has commited himself to us and we should reciprocate.....let the love affair begin :icon_mrgreen:
