How many points?

Shaktar can't loose one if Milan win all their games..

 

10 points is always the benchmark

 

After looking at the uefa coefficent thingies we might be better off in the long term going on a long run in the uefa cup.

 

Really is the minimum imo.

I think we can take points from anyone away from home

IF...

We play from the first minute and not the 30th, we need to be awake from the whistle. I though we were really discipline last night from the start, need to have that concentration away from home.

 

we definately need some points away from home. Win against Benfica in Lisbon would be really nice. Shaktar will be battling hard with us for second place. Also some posts saying Benfica are poorer this season, I still get worried when Celtic travel. We lost 3 goals away from home to Copenhagen and I really expected to win that one. Copenhagen were very average.

 

So if Shakhtar beats you guys, and you beat Milan, it means Shakhtar will take 0 points against Milan... hmmm good logic.

 

We had 10 points with O'Neil and went out.

 

I can see a few permutations.

I think the 3rd goal that Shakthar had chopped off for off-side could be the vital factor in the group.
Not just because it reduces their goal difference but because any team who dares come to Parkhead with an attacking attitude can be sent home packing 3-0 like Benfica were last season.. I know it's early days and some people believe Donetsk are favourites right now but Im still seing AC Milan as top dogs and if we beat Shakthar 3-0 at home then at least they will need one point more than us to get through.. I reckon 10 points could be enough with a 3-0 win over Donetsk..

In short we must get 3 wins at home, i'm worried about our two remaining away trips, with me cheering them on in Lisbon an away win is poss!!
