I voted no. I will admit to thinking that it was a decent result against Stuttgart and not being overly * off by it. Last night they took it too far and it's getting scary. Their hordes will now start to believe that they are brilliant and whilst the truth will come out in the end, I hate even seeing one of them with a smile on their ugly faces for even a second.

Already posted my reasons on another thread, and how do we get nothing back? What does it have to do with Celtic wither our fans back them in Europe or not?

I know a number of rangers fans who back Celtic in Europe.

It has a lot to do with it. Us and Rangers are linked to such a degree its greater than most rivals.

If I did word association with continental europeans and said Celtic. They would say Old Firm or Rangers probably might say Ireland etc.

If I did the same with Barcelona they would not say Real Madrid. If I say AC Milan they will not say Inter. If I say ManU they will not say Liverpool or City.

Now we are linked tighter to the huns than those clubs with their rival..... Would you ever see any of them support their rival club in Europe? I dont know if your one of the new age celtic fans who show more empathy to Scotland than Celtic. But jeez.

I think not. And please dont give me they are from a big league they dont have too. Then look at eastern european rivalries.

 

OK so maybe my wording wasnt great. I dont back them but I respected that scoreline and I dont mind a Scottish team gaining respect for Scottish Football. I dont give a * what anyone says, if we had beaten Lyon 3-0 away we would have been * delighted. Maybe Im just not as shallow as some people on here. Sure I hate Rangers but I can see past that when they win like that.

 

t one nil i was shocked and when i checked back on the score it was 3 nil...i hadnt been that appalled since we lost top shaktar... how cna the team that cant get 3 from the 'well devestate that best team in france
