Y HAVE WE BOUGHT HIM!! ive watched him bout 5times and hes never even been burnleys best player for * sake. i am NOT excited at all right now as our two signings Camara and Zurawksi are a huge risk and although i fink 'Magic' may be a gd singing i still have doubts. Mo Camara isnt even as gd as Laursen. SHOCKING FIRST SIGNING....HOPE THIS IS NOT WHAT IS 2 FOLLOW

davybhoy he might not be our ideal candidate but anyone in a celtic jersey will get my backing hes here so i will give the guy a chance and lets face it we dont have the money or the attraction for massive players that we crave at celtic but lets get behind him now i know every other celtic fan will cmon the hoops lets get our TITLE BACK!!!!!!

what gets me is that some people on here cry and beg for celtic to sign someone, and when they get 2 (or at least 1...with the other looking likely), they * and moan and say "oh * no, not him..."
seriously...who was larsson or petrov before they came here....give him a chance

Mo's First Interveiw

Mo Camara was interveiwed by the celtic website after signin he had this to say:

But new Celtic signing Mo Camara has revealed that he arrives in Glasgow as a man with a point to prove and is desperate for the fresh challenges of the coming season to begin.
The 29 year-old Guinean left back signed on at the club tonight after a day of talks with Gordon Strachan, becoming the new manager’s first new signing at Celtic Park.
Camara, who left Burnley last season under freedom of contract and has also played for Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers, has signed a two-year deal at Celtic and tonight spoke exclusively to <a href="http://www.celticfc.net">www.celticfc.net</a> about the move.
“I am definitely happy” said left back with a broad grin, “because for a long time now I have been hearing about Celtic’s interest in me, since three or four months ago.
“But when I heard about Celtic’s interest I was willing to wait for a long time, because for me, coming here is like a dream come true.
“I have never been in Scotland, but I have seen on TV the Celtic fans, the stadium, everything, so this is like a dream.
“But I am here now and I just can’t wait for the season to start.”
Valued by the supporters of his previous club as an attacking full back blessed with exceptional pace, Camara will be the first of several new signings by Strachan before the start of the season.
Although he has played all of his football in France and England, Camara had a chance to talk to two knowledgeable sources before making this move.
Few are able to draw on both halves of the Old Firm divide for a word of advice, but as Camara explained, he is one such player and counts among his close friends former Celtic man, Momo Sylla and Rangers midfielder Alex Rae.
Camara became close friends with Sylla when they played alongside each other for Le Havre and was also a room-mate of Rae’s after moving to Wolverhampton Wanderers from Lille.
“I spoke to Momo Sylla three or four times before I came here and he said it is an unbelievable club to play for” revealed Camara. “He said that if I had the possibility to sign for Celtic I should sign immediately.”</p>
<p>Camara then phoned Rae for the perspective from across the divide and he revealed with a laugh: “I know there is a big rivalry between Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers.
“We were laughing when we spoke to each other and I said that ‘next season when I play against you it will be hard for you, because you know me exactly and I don’t like losing!’
“It will be funny, but everyone I spoke to said very good things about Celtic.”
“I’ve never been in Scotland before” continued Camara, “it’s my first time here. But Glasgow looks like a nice city, everyone has told me it is a nice city and I am so happy.
Signing for Celtic is an absolutely massive club for me. I know I am not from a big club and I am not a big name player and that’s why I am desperate for the season to start, so the Celtic fans can see that I deserve this shot.
“We come back on the 1st of July and I can’t wait, I am counting the days now. For the first time in my life I am looking forward to preseason!”
The Guinean international also celebrates his 30th birthday this Saturday and as he explained the past few days have passed in a blur.
He admits himself that the enormity of the move has in some ways yet to sink in, but one fact is a certainty, when the season begins so will the hard work and that is exactly what Camara is looking forward to.
It’s unbelievable, my life at the moment” he said. “I just want to come in now and prove myself and fight for my place.
Because I know that I am going to have to fight every day at a massive club like this to show the fans and the manager what I am capable of.”

Read it again and you'll see that he phoned Rae to ask him what life was like for him since he is part of the old firm. Celtic were the one's that spotted Camara, Rae didn't walk up to the MoN and say "Hey, you should buy the Burnley left back, Mo Camara."
