We need to stand behind the man, he hasn't had the best start no, but ffs we have sold the spine of our team over the past two years, and they expect to bring in a new manager and say right their you go that's yer lot get us into the CL with a team that's been heading for a result like this. Lenny spotted it and got out so he never had to take the flak for decisions made by the board and Lawwell, now we'll see what panic this gets the * up the stairs in, if you ask me Deila isn't at fault it's the greedy * sitting in there ivory towers who made the decision to ruin what was a team on the rise by selling the biggest majority of it.

Not quite sure how that relates to my post. I have never once said I won't give him time. My gripe was about you absolving him from blame for this defeat and laying it at the boards door. His tactics cost us in this tie not the boards penny pinching. That's the truth. Adjust the tactics to the limitations of the players as any manager worth their salt would. Simple.

He was approached by the board because they specifically wanted a man with his frugal approach to transfers. The aggressive football he likes to implement was a bait for the fans. Anyone clued up on tactics will see that it is too risky, and would take investments in players to maaaybe make it work. I bet he's regretting accepting the job.

No chance. Any manager worth there salt(which I hope Ronny thinks he is at least)would be relishing a challenge to turn this team around.

If he was to regret taking the job after a rightful embarrassment then the job should have never been his.

We don't know what a Ronny Deila Celtic team will be, given time and with his own players. I'm hopeful, but less so today than when he walked in the door.

What we do know is this crop of players won't work. So goodbye :bbpd:.

I'll roll the dice with Deila.

With the budget the Celtic board would give them? Would they *!

Why do you think we ended up getting a nobody? Because all the rest would have laughed and said * off, when they were told what budget they would be given with the expectation of decent progress Europe:smiley-laughing002:

I, personally, didn't want Roy KeAne to get the job, but he laughed in Lawwells face when he seen the materials and budget he had to work with.

Deila has my full backing at the moment. This early exit from CL Qualifiers was on the cards and we need to strengthen in January to avoid it. I agree that Deila had his part to play in the shambles of the two Legia games but think if allowed time he can be a successful Manager for us.

Sadly, backing Deila, is backing this boards strategy.

What choice do we have, we don't turn our back on Celtic.

This can be binned, the glass is half full, not half empty, if one good performance doesn't make him a good manager, then a couple of early defeats doesn't make him a bad one either. As a penance say two Hail Marys and seek Ronny's forgiveness. Have faith!

He was spot on today against a tough Dundee utd team we made them look like a part time mob. Really hope the guy can keep these performances up.

If he gets caught singing the broad black Brimmer in town I think he might just become the greatest modern day celtic manager
