Bottom line is there were a few good managers available we went for the cheapest option its the Celtic way, i remember when Fergus started the shares process he said' this is to ensure not one family or one person will have control of the club again' well Lawwell seems to be in total control of all thing financial to who we actually sign.

Time will tell if Deila is a decent manager but for now my opinion is yes man and Mowbray MK II

We don't need mediocre players constantly coming in and adding the square root of * all to the squad. We've needed some investment for far too long and this board must be fast running out of rope. I'm not talking 20m to be spent, just one 6m striker instead of three * 2m players. Not rocket science.

Look it's been a sore one tonight but this sack the board talk is mental it's very hard to get players in. The board have got celtic in very good health while our rivals languish in the lower divisions. Realistically who could we have signed that would have made major improvements? Gauld went for three Robertson aswell that's six million for two players that would not have made a difference regarding tonight you can't even go to the championship now 11 mill for McCormack snodgrass big money can't recall how much if you pushed the boat out and signed one of them would we have won tonight? And if people say we should go to Europe well van dijk was signed for the qualifiers and he was pish. Johanson took time to settle as well as lustig. If the board splashed cash and we still failed to make the groups what then season ticket sales still down players on high wages.

    That's a bit harsh!

Mowbray got us through the 2nd round Champ League qualifier.

No more season ticket no more spending fortunes to drape European cities in green and white to sell us a the greatest support in the world . We wanted one or two marquee players to give us hope . I'm depressed to say it but I told my mate to back Warsaw tonight I have his docket to prover it at 5/2 - we are a mess in midfield we haven't one decent striker .
    It's so depressing .

Was laughed at years ago for saying Lawwell took us from Seville to Ross County, when we lost in the semi.

These past two years he got lucky, thanks to Lennon,by not spending prior to the qualifiers and it looks like this year he has played that cheap card one too many times.

Peter pick another fight with the GB,laugh at the huns at a Celtic AGM,tell us we're in for,Messi,Ronaldo or Kroos but the deals fell through, then tell us again how Arsenal are after you once again, that was a * beauty.

C,mon Griffiths is a good striker - And with this scrooge board we WONT get any better strikers for the money these tight gits are willing to spend.

Far too early to blame the manager. He's working with Lennon's players after all and hasn't spent a coin as yet!

    The Board are too blame.

First off it's the men who run our club then it's the manager with his tactics and starting line up chucking in a guy who has not played 1st team football in nearly 6 months and then his tactics and subs when we go to 10 men.

Utter shambles, been saying this for the past month on here about us not getting the players in and this could back fire, but you get the same people who think our board can do no wrong ect and still follow like * sheep.

    Something has to be done.

Aye don't mention Juarez or murphy of any other dud. That wasn't my point any way it took those players three attempts to get into the champions league so splashing money doesn't always guarantee success.
