If Ronny really knows and likes the player like some are saying then why wouldn't we buy him outright? That doesn't fill me with too much confidence.

Its * all to do with the manager. Maybe this * will turn out alright but Lawell and the Celtic board are showing no ambition in the transfer market at all. We need another good, proven striker and we will have to splash a few million to get him. Will we take that risk? Will we *

I hope this boy is good but I seriously doubt he is going to improve the squad by much. We need to be signing players better than our current ones if we are wanting to improve each season. Take a risk every now and again

I never passed judgement on him. I also would not judge a player by his price tag. I would rather have Vic for 900k that some of the overpriced rubbish floating about England.

Haven't seen him play, or not anytime I can recall, so I'll reserve my judgement on the lad until he has played a few times in the hoops. I think, as is the case with some players, they just need to find a team and system that suits them. Maybe that'll be Celtic. Plus, it's a loan, it's not like we'll be stuck with him if he does turn out to be rotten.

Ronnie obviously thinks this guy is worth loaning for a few months to see if he thinks he'll make it.

Yeah the balance sheets will be looking * fantastic. Forgive me for not believing for a second that we'll reinvest a decent amount of money in to improving the playing squad.

I agree this isn't exactly a box office signing but don't believe that the Manager is having this player forced on him. Surely not a coinidence that he played for Molde when Deila was Managing in Norway and played on loan at Stormgodst,, not unreasonable to think he identifed him as a player he would like to have permanently back then. I will agree however that the fact that it is a loan deal is probably down to the board as I am sure Deila expressed that he wasn't keen on loans.

Thought of him as a creative type player winger/ attacking midfield.

Obvious to see that Deila has a very clear image of how he wants us to play which is extremely refreshing.

Can see him hitting the ground running and becoming a hit. Great (loanee) signing to be honest premier league player with a bit of quality.

    Happy happy happy!!

......or it could be that Ronny wants him and it was Peter who was sceptical. Can imagine the conversation,
' So Ronny why do we another striker when we've just sold Tony and have another 4 who have a better goal scoring record? So tell you what Ronny, 6 months trial and if Jo Inge is as good as you have said, we'll buy him.'

Seen that right after I posted. I am willing to give the guy a chance if Deila rates him.

FFS the guy hasn't kicked a baw yet and we have some labelling the guy a dud. Probably the same people who said Larsson, Lubo, and others were all unfit to wear the Hoops when they joined us.

He's a loan signing with the option to buy if he does well so what exactly is the problem? As for suggestions that Ronnie has had no say in the guy coming in is just ridiculous.

That's awful big of you, I hope someone lets him know so he can start settling in with his mind at ease.

He'll either suck or be a revelation. Either way, gone in 6 months. We can't lose! Or win. So let's dance.

So all the negative posts on here about the guy and you pick on my one actually giving the guy a bit of support?

My comment is more about the faith and confidence I have in our new Manager rather than a player who I have never seen play.
