Free Transfer after last week , Nah i think he will regain his confidence staright away and i can see him leaving us sooner than we expected for about 10 million , hopefully

 

(Personally) I think even though Gordon went for £9 million he was overpriced a wee bit. So with Boruc being a better goalie and all, I think hes worth £13+

However depending on how this contract goes, I can see Boruc going for £6-8 million at the end of the season or so. Hopefully though he signs a few year extension putting a realistic value of him closer to £13 mill.

if we do cash in on borat sooner rather than later i would honestly want at least 15 million for him, if gordon is worth 9 why not. i think mcgregor is better than gordon

that would be class hes no scott brown,if gordon went to relagation team for 9m,then boruc if he keeps playing well in champions league against the best teams in europe should be 15+m same with naka but hope neither go the club not broke desmond doesnt need the money

 

We'll see what happens, i don't think we'll get the price that was paid for Gordon, but i'm sure that any reasonable offers for him would be considered. One thing the club can't ignore is his value in terms of points both domestically and in the champions league. He's worth more in terms of points than in cash value.

And as someone said earlier in this thread we couldn't replace him.

We were looking at a few keepers in the summer apparently so I hope we can get it sorted out in January or the summer. Hopefully WGS can spot another diamond in the rough!

 

i said that grant, we either get a good defence infront of him so we can compete in the CL PROPERLY. or we lose him its simple.

 

If we did get a price, imo it'd have to be nothing below £6-7million. i'd say about £11-12 million. Depends how he does in the CL i suppose. Bring on AC Milan. I dont want to lose him though.

 

Maybe he is worth hanging onto till the end of his contract then let him go on a Bosman. Sounds daft but if we had let him go this summer it would have cost us 10 million cause we would not have beaten Spartak with any other keeper. That would have cancelled out any fee we got for him. Certainly we need him until we qualify for the CL next year then we could let him go next September maybe. He is the best goalie the clubs ever had and he will not be replaced with similar quality and we will be a weaker team.

 

If he plays in qualifiers next season...

He wants to go to a giant club.
