Correct. Stadium is not a place where you would like to take your kids on sunday afternoon.

I think what he wanted to say is you can't really follow the game with a cardboard over your head and smoke in your eyes ;)

PS Although I don't like Legia, I think "welcome to *" presentation was the best one ever in our league.

How many people do you get for Krakow's home games?

we usually get around 9-10K a game since our current stadium only holds around 10K, but with the new additions, the stadium will have around 15-16K and it should always be 75 to 100 % full

    hello :]

I`m fun of GKS Katowice-small Club (but with good tradition) in the south of Poland.

Unfortunetly We was relegated to second league this year, but it doesn`t important.

I will be with my club FOREVER, and I`m praud of Him!!

(and I know that we will back to premier league next year so be afraid, funs of Legia and Wisla: )

Here is some fotos to show, that in Poland, even on small stadiums(majority in our country) people have great fun!

in Poland, we have a problem with these "farm" teams... clubs in small village towns yet they have a great team and great finiancial support.. they have great management and cash to spend, yet its embarrasing with their very small stadiums and small crowds ( 1-3K a game) ... yet other teams in large cities have no money and when 15K of their fans show up, they see a very poor display of football

Do the people supplying financial support make any money out of their teams if they have so few supporters?

suprisingly, they do.. two examples are Amica Wronki ( got destroyed by the Rangers in the UEFA cup) and Groclin ( who defeated Hertha Berlin and Man City in hte uefa cup).. both have great sponsors and coaches, they make money from selling their good players.. last summer Amica made around 1 million euro from transfer sales which in polish terms is ALOT of money... they also make money by making it to uefa cup,

Murphy, the money from tickets (not to mention merchandise) are only a little part of clubs income in Poland so it's totally different from what you have in Scotland or England. Most of the cash is paid by clubs owners and canal + (owns tv rights). The owners aren't very likely to make any money out of this business and they're pretty happy if they don't suffer much damage. It's just their hobby. Of course, things now change but... very slowly.
