For me the dutchman hasn't kicked a ball from when he made Ferdinand's life * down at old trafford.I think we should drop him for Killen so he knows he isn't a superstar and so Killen gets a runout

I dont think his performances have been any ware near good, but he is scoring goals so i wouldnt drop him especially not against a hibs team who are strong at the moment

you can hardly say Killen has had a chance, he hasnt even played 90 mins in total yet. his record at hibs shows he can score goals at spl level so why not give him a chance up front?

sadly it wont happen as Strachan has a hard on for VoH and wont drop him despite the fact he's a lazy *

Cant see WGS splitting his 1st choice CF, CM or CB partnerships yet. They are still developing and the more they play the better the understanding. Its too early to chop and change too much but maybe in another months time depending on progress. They have improved in the SPL with every game but its very very early days. Caldwell and Mcmanus only about 3 weeks ago played their first games as a CB pairing since Xmas. Donati and Brown have only played together for about 9 competitive games and skippy and JVOH have only been partnering each other competitively for about 3 or 4 weeks now. Thats no time at all. Patience is needed with partnerships down the spine.

The guy has scored 5 goals in 6 league games, what the * else do you want from him?

He thrives on crossed balls into the box. Look at the service he gets:

Naka - doesn't get to the byeline and cross it, instead cuts inside and puts it in from a poor angle.
McGeady - doesn't cross the ball.
Wilson - always punts the ball 5 yards past the back post.
Naylor - by far the best crosser of the ball in the team last year and has been woeful this season.

The fact that person that has gotten to the byeline and put the ball in for him the most for him this season is McDonald speaks volumes. That VoH, without any of the proper service has scored that many is testament to why he's a Dutch international.

Folk used to say that Hartson was a fat lazy * and now the same folk say that we could do with Hartson back because he was a great player.

People are going on about how good McDonald is playing and he has been playing well, but he has only scored 2 in 5. Compare the goal stats. JVoH's Celtic career scoring record is almost .7 goals a game, i'll take that from any striker that pulls on the hoops gladly.

A striker is there solely to score goals and that is how he is judged. Just ask Kenny Miller. VoH is scoring at almost a goal a game in the league.

spot on. our width is very poor this season and your right about angles of crosses. They are much better coming from the byline than deep. We need to buy dome quality width.

I think as well i have to question WGS's Arsenal style tactics of having the wingers playing on the opposite winger of their dominant foot. Naka might not have a huge burst of pace but he can cross the ball and if he was on the left the ball would be swinging away from the keeper instead of into him as it is on the left. McGeady has got a bit of pace and trickery and it would be easier for him to cross (which is a weak point of his game) if he was crossing on his right foot.

Our fullbacks are not good enough to play the role of constant attacking threat without giving something away at the back. Arsenal have had Cole, Lauren, Cliche etc etc, athletes who are lightening quick and skillfull and who could play as wingers if wenger wanted them to.

Our fullbacks never get beyond the wingers on the overlap and offer the option of a byeline cross, both prefering to stand halfway between the box and halfway line and cross from there.

This i think takes a scoring element from our game and i'm beginning to thing WGS should bite the bullet and change it, otherwise buy lpayers that are suitable for the tactics he has chosen.

have u seen a handsome hun
we can argue all day about the pros and cons of having jvoh in the side, the only person that matters is strachs. and he's picking him.

    for me though.

jvoh is about four classes below sutton and hartson.
and thats why we think hes no up to it...... we're used to better.

he looks knackered after 10 minutes... is he fit?
his head seems to go down easily too.

overall i think the guy could do wi a month in the second string.... then we'll see what kind of hunger he has.

why buy killen if he's not to be used.

also another euro disappointment with no goals for the tic..... and deek riordan is nowhere to be seen.....????????????????????????????
