I'm pretty sure he'll leave in Jan and come back to Celtic

This story seems identical to Barry Feguson when he was at Blackburn

It's sad when the guy can't even hack living 4 hours away for 6 months.

I don't want him back, he signed for Villa for 3 grand more than we offered him and now he can't get in the team down there he thinks he'd be better off down there. And i'm sure Villa would want us to pay more than we sold our own youth player for the ungrateful wee *.

I would take back Maloney and Petrov in an instant anyway, cos they wont take their time at Celtic Park for granted this time.... they will realise how lucky they are to be there, not playing in a * city like Birmingham. Maloney is only 24 so thats about 8 more years of service he can give Celtic so well worth the money.

He can say sorry to the fans by scoring another 40 yard cracker against Rangers :86:

In terms of football yes he is good enough, but i do not know if he respects the club enough

Well if I was a villa fan (I had a soft spot years ago for the team with townsend, milosovic, york etc - not sure why) I would want shot of him cause he is basically publicly saying he wants to go back to celtic but MON stopped him. I wouldnt want someone like that sticking around. Jarosik is a bit like that with us. Can we have shaun back for Jarosik as a swap? I think Shaun could be an exceptional player if he played every game for a 2 or 3 months but he is never going to improve on the bench.

I don't think he does want out just yet though. As was my original point, this is where I blame the Scottish press. They have put this spin on it. Not Villa. Not MON. Not wee Shaun, nobody.

No thanks to Jarosik, ex bluenose. :86:

I like Maloney as a player and I have defended his choice to leave. But he did muck us about a bit. Now he is mucking Villa about. Because of that I wouldn't take him back. Despite his talent. His behaviour isn't impressive.
