My birds dad has one called stream box that just connects to the wifi and he says you get everything on it.

Not seen it in action yet but I've never heard of it

You can get a Droidbox or Raspberry Pi then install apps on it which give you loads of streams and Sky channels which is a similar setup.

My box is still the very best. Just needs a wee tune up every wee while. There is a lad that does it all for us. One of payment of 150 quid.and ye get all the channels including the *:D

Basically just need an ethernet cable from router to the box and a.cable from box to the dish. Mighty * job. Better than those sky.* robbing ye every month

Had one for a couple of years now.The guy who i first got it from charged £120 a year....cheap but he was making a good profit on that.Done some searching and got it sorted myself.Box was £45. from ebay and subscription was £25. for the year. Some channels have gone but only the hd ones. All sd channels still work fine. How long for nobody knows. Getting set up is and a years sub is less than one month of a full package from sly.

How much a month do you pay your card sharer? I pay $27.30 for 6 months. A year is $48 and I can suspend my service if I am not using it. It would be interesting to know the cheapest out there.

I have the HD openbox and the VU duo. The only real advantage of the dearer box is the 7day EPG and the record one show while watching another. I find the cheaper box(open box) more stable and never gives any problems.
