    Need to learn some
Just to echo the sentiments of other Polish fans, I think you'll all be very impressed with Zurawski. Along with Krzynowek (Bayer Leverkusen) and Dudek, he is the top player of his generation. He has been by far the best player in the Polish league for the past 4-5 years. Has been just as efficient in European competition as in Poland, and has finally had that success carry over to the Polish national team over the past year or so, following a slow start to his international career. Currently, holds an automatic spot in the starting XI for Poland and will continue to do so for quite a long time.

Followers of Polish football have been telling anyone and everyone who would listen about Zurawski for 4 years now, and I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed, and that 3mil euro will be an absolute bargain.

Brilliant! Nothing has happened yet so lets not get ahead of ourselves, but I'm really hopeful we could offer him a good contract to speed things up.

  3. Well this Zurawski seems very under-rated to me, just like Henrik Larsson was in other countries, people believing he only did well because he was in the Scottish league (Zurawski same in Poland) and look at him at Barcelona, near the end of his career but putting in great performances. I really hope we can buy Zurawski because I know he'll be great!

He sounds as if he is in the same mould as Larsson. I hope Celtic don't go and f**k things up. I would really love to have him in the hoops next season.

Greetings. It will be a huge loss for our team if he leaves.. but it's now or never.. the only thing that I'm concerned about is that if he settles in good in Scotland.. because he had problems settling in before.. In Wisla, when he joined about 5 years or so, he scored only 8 goals... but the coach had trust in him, and since then he didn't go below 20 goals a season.. same with the national team.. 42 caps and only 13 goals (which isn't bad anyway, but he definitely can do better). Just recently he settled in in the squad, he knows he is wanted - and he repays. That's the thing I wanted to say, all what my fellow countrymen had said about him is true, and I also think he's way ahead of Bellamy for example. But it might not work out, don't expect an instant impact. If Strachan will believe in him, he's gonna start playing. But if after a series of mediocre performances he'll be put on the bench... well, he'll witness the same fate most of the polish hopefulls had in western leagues, such as Kosowski, Kaluzny, etc.
I support his move to the Bhoys :) I wish him all the best. Just wanted to warn you, 'couse a lot of people here see him as an immediate succes.. which not necessarily can happen..

This of course is all hypothetical talks... he needs to sign for you yet.. fingers crossed though :)

There please, find "Zurawski", click and you'll find all the important statistics. Look carefully - at the number of goals, assists (or last passes , whatever you call them) and so on.

    Good news - it's in English :84:

Well if he doesn't perform well, then it's uncertain what Strachan would do...I hope he'd show faith in him, but don't forget Strachan is new, so I'm not an expert on his Managerial Style. Hopefully Strachan, and us Celtic fans, will be patient enough to see a truly succesful Zurawski at Celtic.

I have nothing else to say than others did. If Celtic gets Maciek it may be their best deal in years. He's no doubts world class striker with his own style and brilliant abilities. No offense to anyone, but I think you all soon forget about that brutal handicape Bellamy (last time we have seen red-faced mad Bellamy kicking bones in Wales-Poland game, which Wales lost 1-3 and Bellamy looked like an * by Żurawski's side.)
    Greetings to all

Mariusz, Poland beat Wales 3:2, the last goal was scored in 90th minute by... John Hartson

However, I agree that Zurawski is an excellent player and is a much better striker than Bellamy...
