Sorry about that, apparently its only a temporary file they put up.

Anyway, what i saw on that video was many examples of the talent this fella has as a player and i can safely say that he certainly is an exciting player.

He can certainly take a lethal free-kick, gets up well in the air to meet crosses, his eye for goal is phenomenal and he seems to have great strength and pace, he looks like he could be a superb player for us, i was a bit pensive when they first announced that they were watching some Polish striker but now i have seen the guy in action, i would be more than happy if we got him because if he scores goals for us in the SPL like the kind he does in the Polish league then the fans will be entertained watching him play.

The guy fairly puts his chances away when he gets a sniff of goal and he doesn't seem to waste his chances too much from what i saw, he doesn't go to ground easy either and has a bit of a never say die attitude to his game because he keeps on running at defenders and if the ball is at his feet, he seems to stick it into the back of the net first chance he gets.

I don't know if Zurawski is a name that will get Celtic fans excited but from what i have seen, i reckon he will be an excellent player to have and i think he will do a job here in the SPL if he comes to us.

I think now i have seen this guy, i would be fairly happy if we got this guy and Riordan to boost our strike force upfront for the new season then bought some useful defenders and midfielders with the rest of the budget, if we are strong at the back and in the middle then guys like Zurawski, Riordan and Hartson will still stick them away upfront.

As much as i like Bellamy, i think he costs too much and i think that money would be better spent on a goalkeeper, a few defenders, a winger and a midfielder and i would be very surprised if a deal happens for him here, i would be delighted if we got him though but i would say Zurawski is more in the mould of Henrik Larsson where his scoring ability is concerned and christ almighty his freekicks echo the likes of Lubo Moravcik too.

    Greetings from Cracow!

As any of Wisla's fun I can say you only good things about Zurawski.
We call him "lord of swards", and he proves thids name many many times during his five years in Wisla.
His position is of course a striker - he played also some games as right midfielder, but we saw it's not a position for him. He can play also as a playmaker, I think, although he's never been moved to this position.
He feels best as a striker, withdrawn a little - between the place of striker and playmaker. This spring he was for us both best striker and playmaker. You buy two players, not a one, then ;)
He makes a great work in almost every game - when he cannot receive good service from midfielders, he goes back for ball and fight for it himself. The only one shortcoming is he doesn't strike well with his head, there was only a single examples of this.
As a matter of fact he's much more worth than bellamy. Believe me, I was surpriced when I heard whoat is the diffrence in prices. I think Zurawski's real value should be about 4-5 mln pounds. The reason the price is much lower is that he play in club not well known on international stadiums, in weak league, havn't played in CL, and so on. But he would become more than valuable payer. He could - I wish that - become a star. At least you'll have a very good striker for the next 3-4 years.
All the best for Celtic team, and win the champion next years, with mr. MZ as the top scorer of course ;)

Two other interesting things about Zurawski are facts, that he missed only one penalty shoot & never been injured throughout his career.
Anyway looks like this year he`ll leave us for sure.He keep says : "After five years in Wisla,I need to try something else, change the club and meet new challenges."
Maybe these words are nothing to be proud of for a Wisla fan,but at least I`m happy becouse I believe Celtic is much better side than Trabzonspor or Austria Vienna.Side with big stadium, fantastic atmosphere and not bad perspectives in Champions League.
    Ok,enough of sweetnes :84:
If we could get the money from this transfer,we can sign good players too.

    Greetings

It is indeed. As far as I remember he has missed twice in his entire career, (including one in the league and one in the WC in Korea).

What else shall I tell you...

It may sound interesting for you that he has never been seriously injured. A strong, healthy guy, touch wood. 18 months ago he underwent a minor groin surgery in Berlin and was out of training for a few days. I can't remember anything else.

He has never been involved in any affairs, scandals; he's never misbehaved either on or off the pitch. Hardly ever gets yellow cards.

He is the man on whom our national team coach builds the squad (if you know what I mean; must work on my English ...) He plays as a typical striker but previously he performed for Poland as a right winger. Although he didn't fail, it was a waste , in my opinion. On the other hand - it means, he is capable of playing anywhere.

Maciej is a traesure, but he has to be given some support, trust ... He must feel his coach relies on him and needs him. Then he performs miracles.
    *
When he scores, we sing for him: << Żuraw, Żuraw, władca muraw >>, which means << "Żuraw", "Żuraw" , the Lord of the Pitches >> .
    *
His surname is Żurawski, his nickname - "Żuraw" which means "Crane". I know it's time for him to fly away from Poland , but I am going to miss him so much ...

    All the best!

This guy reminds me of a certain Henrik Larsson...very professional and doesn't usually get injured...giving a 100%. Zurawski's agent did say we faced competition..any idea how much he get's paid at the moment?

    Hello to all Celtic fans

For sure Zurawski is much better tha Bellamy. You guys won't believe me but if Your Club will buy him You will see it is a fact.
Maciej Zurawski is a skillfull attacker with powerful and precise shot (he prefers right leg), he can return for ball and make a key pass to other player and of course he is fast.
He is experienced player so I think He won't have such big problems with his adjustment to new team as he had when he was a newcomer at Wisla.
Problem with him at Wisla is that he needs a new challenge and he is not always playing his best. I have no doubt he will be playing his 110% at every game for Celts. In my opinion Celtic is perfect club for Zurawski and Zurawski is perfect player for You.

P.s. It is said that Zurawski would be at Glasgow on Monday to discuss his personal contract, polish press mention about 20 000 pounds with 40% tax rate (can You compare this wage to other Celtics players??).
    Thank You.

Yes, but believe me, he does not want to leave Poland just to earn more. It's not the reason.
He's just fed up. With a lot of things. Ten years in the Polish league. Every year the same stadia, the same paths, the same faces. He needs changes. And he needs a challenge. Our league is just too weak for him. He has achieved everything in Poland: he's been a national champion many times, he's won Polish Cups, he's been chosen the most valuable player a few times, he's been the King of Scorers twice, has won some Football Oscars, outclassed the other players in all possible polls and has become the leader of the national team. What else could he aim at in Poland?

I understand when he says he wants to try something new, to feel excitement, even fear. Money? Not that important. What he earns now is a fortune in Poland, believe it or not. (We live in the country with an average monthly salary of about 300 pounds or less !!! )

PS: To be frank, I'd prefer to talk about Maciej when he signs. It's a long way from negotiations to transfer.
