We can draw comparisons from history to suit the argument either way. Point is our strikers are bang average at best.

    Obviously he will.

Maybe it would satisfy some better if he changed his name to Leighandro Griffendinho

What makes you think Stokes will? When we had Hooper, Stokes never got a look in in the big games Lennon dropped him nearly every time.

I'm curious why you think he wouldn't. He's done excellently for us so far both scoring and creating goals. It remains to be seen whether he can trouble top level european defenses but it would be daft not to give him the chance.

Edit: just saw you did explain your reasoning on a previous page but I would say from what I've seen of both of them griffiths is at least as good as pukki at holding the ball up.

Griffiths could easily be dangerous in Europe. He is a nippy wee * and will sniff out chances at any level.

hes not up against diddy spl defenders

we will have to work the opposing team around ala martin oneils tteam ala gordon strachans team ala neil lennons team

for that you need a centre forward that can hold up the ball and is intelligent

dont think griffiths will be good enough personally

Personally, I think Griffiths is * and will be sold in January when we realise we have no need for him. Stokes, Watt, Commons and Pukki are all better imo. I'll no say Balde as he is absolute pish. No harm to the big man but he's never going to make it here. I really dislike his type of player. A big battering ram and never want us playing that style of football

Sounds like Pukki will be a favoured option of Ronnie, reading his press conference. A confident Pukki can still make it at Celtic imo.

In the cl we need a clinical finisher just like hooper who will take the 1 or 2 chances that he will get every game

Theres not striker a striker at the club better suited to that then griffiths

Scott McDonald done it, and the Thunb is quicker and for me is a better all round player than skippy was.
