Are FIFA and FARE in competition to see who can be the biggest *, mind you they both do this on a consistent basis so we shouldn't be shocked by the latest mock outrage :38:

On a side note, the South American fans have been a breath of fresh air compared with most European ones (particularly boring * like Engurland) and it's a pity not more are held down there, this is the first South American World Cup since Mexico 86 if you class Mexico as South, you've got to go back to 78 for Argentina....mind you suppose only a select few South American nations could fund it or attempt to.

    Neymar, what a player.

He's got the hopes of the nation on his shoulders and he's been outstanding so far.

thats incredibly harsh on the croatian players tbh. Modric, rakitic, and mandzukic are all obviously top drawer and I assume that's who you are referring to. However perisic and olic have both been playing great for wolfsburg, lovren is being linked with liverpool ( I actually think he is very overrated but hes still not *), and kovacic is an incredibly important player for inter. Fair enough their goalie and fullbacks are probably a bit past it but they still have quite a few top quality players.

Croatia has mentality issues. We may have players in big clubs, but the best players were those that are ˝past it˝, if we include Srna's performance tonight. Plus Perišić, who is good, but not because of any skill. He runs and works hard, like Olić. We had 3-4 players that wanted to win. Not going to cut it. Mexico had 9-10 of those.

Loved Guardado's celebration answering Kovac who said we would be shaking our knees against them. :)

I think Croatia has lost every single match they have played against Latin American teams in World Cups.

Ecstatic for Mexico. Also saw that Herrera and Chicharito have been upping CONCACAF in their post-game interview so much respect for that. It's nice to see the federation faring well. Even if the US fails to advance, you aim for a 50% advancement rate and that's what we've already got thanks to you guys and the Ticos. The Americas in general have been doing very well (and it ain't just the weather).

Interesting, why games from the group B were played before those from the group A? Brazil was waiting to see who is going to win group B, so they can calculating. Embarrassing.
Also, they got few gifts from the ref against Croatia, Mexico was robbed against Cameroon, so, if there was any justice, Mexico would have won the first place.
Although I like Brazil as a country, I hope Chile will kick them out.
Come on Chile! Come on and Mexico against Holland. I can't wait to read comments about teams in green and orange! :86::86:
