Spot on. Let's do a final roar, towards the league title.

It hasn't worked out the way we hoped it would for Ronny but I'm sure we'll all wish him the best for the future.

Now the focus should be on the board picking a good manager and backing him properly.

Get Rodgers in! (I can dream)

Now that its official hopefully the childish insults can stop and we get behind him and the team for the upcoming games.
Wish him all the best for the future and I have a feeling he will come back and watch us as well as a fan. HH

Lenny saying he's interested, Jaysus this is all happening very quickly.

Although I think it was obvious from the way he answered the question on Sunday that he is interested.

When I read it on BBC a few mins ago I thought "Ahh well"...

I'm not pleased but neither am I displeased. I really wanted Ronny to succeed but the job maybe came too soon for a guy like him but how often does the chance to manage a team like Celtic come along?

I just hope we give him the respect and backing he deserves until the end of the season.

He did try his best, undoubtedly, but his tactics have been very questionable at times and he's got it wrong more often than not when it's really mattered.

I have nothing against the man, but this job has just been too big for him since day one. The warning signs were there from the start, when you looked at what he was used to working with before.

No disrespect to Stromsgodset, but I doubt it's the most pressurizing of jobs compared to a club like Celtic.

Of course he is: £14k a week would entice anyone who's unemployed and has zero other options.

Thank *. An announcement was needed for his sake as well as the fans. Could have gotten very ugly if we continued to struggle and there was nothing from the board.

Just like that I don't hate him as much. :smiley-laughing002:

We haven't got what we want. I'd rather be said he was going at the weekend. Let him say goodbye and then start preparing for the CL qualifiers.

Lennon would never have left Celtic two years ago had it not been for the lack of competition.

The knock on effect from that was that the board weren't giving him money to spend back then. That won't be the same now, because after Sunday, the board surely know that they need to spend. The league will be competitive again.

In the past few days, we've all had a major wake up call. The filth are competing with us and they will spend in the summer to challenge for the title next season. When you add Aberdeen and Hearts into the equation, we need to have a renowned manager who will be allowed to spend in order for us to make it to 10IAR and also get back to where we belong in Europe.

I don't want Lennon anywhere near the * job again. Far too much * comes with him (not because of him mind) but we don't need all that again and neither does he.

Best for all of us, the pressure was unsustainable. He did his best and im sure he wanted to succeed but it just didnt work out. I hope he goes on to get a decent job back home maybe Rosenborg or something.

Good coach, and I'm sure he can be a good manager elsewhere. Can hopefully leave with 3 trophies and his head held high.

    Fair play.
Time to get behind the team to get the league won and then move on.
Hopefully Lawwell will follow Ronny out the door.

Na, whoever comes in will surely want their own men beside them.
