I think this may be the one thing that could force the Board to act sooner rather than later.

He'll be here til the end of the season, but the apologists like Padmill should come out and defend their man.

He won't be sacked until the seasons over, I'm sure he's on a rolling contract so it just won't be renewed and we'll save a few pounds..

the thought that there could still be some sort of decision to make, other than who to replace him with, actually makes me feel physically sick :smiley-laughing002:

The teams performances have been grinding away at me for too long and today just made me certain on what I want. If he can't get the team organised, fit and playing for him, he should go and so should some of the players.

If he's on a rolling contract it will have a year to run regardless of when he's sacked

He is adamant that he's still the man to take the club forward but he is isn't, playing 4-5-1 at home domestically is one of the reason's why we have went backwards as a team, fair enough playing that formation in European games when we are up against better opposition than ourselves but in Scotland its useless,I don't remember Mowbray getting as much time as Ronny has,a change has to be made at the top but it seems that our board will stand by him no matter what embarrassing result comes up and then bring out the old "A Club Like No Other" garbage, the club needs a clearout from top to bottom starting with Deila,Collins and Kennedy

I would be happy enough to keep the players and see what a new manager can get out of them. I feel a lot of the blame for the sub par performances may stem from the manager. Whats the chances Brown, Bitton, Lustig and Johansen, our most consistent players last season, all start to go off the boil at the same time?

Well said buddy, the apologists are partly to blame for this shambles, their staggering lack of insight and football knowledge is frightening, i bet they will be meeting right now to plan how to show us all how they are the most loyal, true supporters on the site....'the ronny delia armchair supporters association'.....members will need to pull out all the stops to defend their beloved manager now!.........:56:..... Come on guys.... Where are you?

I feel it's entirely Ronny's fault for the performances.

The players who have played under more than one manager have definitely had their worst spells under Deila than any other manager they have played under at Celtic Park. No question. I can't think of one player inherited from Lennon that Deila has improved bar Rogic. And he wasn't even an established first team player under Lennon.

You can count the number of 'successes' under Deila on one hand.

There is no argument on keeping him and Collins et al on for next season.

The writing was on the wall the night of the Legia game at Murrayfield, aye as early as that, at that point I hadn't seen a Celtic side with less fight. It hasn't improved

To be honest, I have never been one of Ronny's biggest fans either but settle down. There was a time where people could've and should've believed in the 'hype'.

You come across like a * in a very difficult time for the fans in general, rubbing their noses in it.

    Here I am, *.

Love how you're on here laughing, the very same day we've been knocked out of the semi-finals by a lower-league opposition - funny as * ain't it?

You and you're wee gang of cronies are actually taking pleasure in Deila's and the team's disgusting performance to get a rise "oh we told you so" type stuff.

Pathetic little scumbags on here actually enjoying aspects of our defeat.
