Managers here will always be judged in Europe, and yes this has been a total failure. It's ashame you can see what he wants to do but obviously it's not working, only way he goes at the moment though is if he walks.

Think Boyata is our only reliable CB just now, he needs someone decent in next to him though not the bomb scares of Efe and Blackett.

We aren't out it yet though, the team needs to show the fight and not just lie down.

I can agree with much of what you've said in your latest posts here on this board.

    But I think you're being a bit of a Deila-apologist.

The squad he has built is so terrible that he has to take responsibility, when the result that truly matters - Europe... is what it is.

He can't shrug it off like a draw against say Kilmarnock.

Only difference is the current clown will win the league again and either one of the cups, but football wise he's another charlatan philosophist

Even when Lennon was getting it wrong in first two seasons you could see he had stars in his team.

Ronny does not have one player he bought that you can see going for big money.

Not that i want players to leave but you know what I mean.

Paul Lambert! Out of work, so no fee/compensation. Technically very astute, so will bring structure. Highly regarded in Europe. Boring as anything so would need dynamic No.2. Did the biz at lower end with Wycombe and Norwich......yes I know, we can't be compared with N&W in UK but by European standards we are fast becoming them.

Atleast we wouldn't be conceding 5 goals over two games versus Molde...

Post match interview from Ronny tonight

RD: I felt we could get something out of the game but I don’t think we got up to the tempo and the level we had on Saturday.

RD: We conceded two easy goals. They didn’t have too many more chances but when they score two out of two, then you’re in trouble.

RD: It’s individual mistakes. We have to win challenges in the box but tonight we lost the game inside the area and that’s disappointing.

RD: If there was somebody who played with his heart tonight, it was Kieran Tierney. It was an unbelievable performance & that was positive.

RD: We have done very well domestically but we haven’t reached the level in Europe that we want, but we’re going to improve.

RD: But we’ve still got a chance to go through if we win the next two games, and we’ll do everything we can to beat Ajax and Fenerbahce.

We have a positive future. We've recovered from bad times in the recent past. We might have a small budget but we have a route into the Champions League and we have a stadium full of fans that is world renowned. There will be plenty ambitous managers out there who will covet our dugout.

Can't believe I feel like Roony out. I've been part of his dream since I read his philosophy and what he did in Norway. It's a horrible feeling giving up on a dream.

Let's be serious. Are we actually going to let Ronny have another go at qualification? There is nothing on show to suggest we should. Domestically he will/should win the league and I'd like to think one of the other cups but anyone else would. There is no point letting him stay till the end of the season is there?

    That's an excellent point btw.
I remember thinking 'he's gonna be a star, and leave here'
Thought that with izzy, kayal, ki, ledley, hooper, wanyama, wilson (kinda), vvd etc etc.
never thought about it like that before.

Honestly I would go for Paco Jemez from Vallecano. But he'd probably say naw.
