I've got to agree. As I said before, Roethlisberger is a good QB, but very overrated and definitely not worth the ridiculous contract the Steelers gave him. ($100 million over 8 years or something daft like that) Their defense is so good, any QB worth his salt would be able to win games.

Don't hate the Giants but I will be rooting for the Eagles this weekend.

    Predictions for the weekend....

    Wins for
    Tennessee
    San Diego
    Philadelphia
    Carolina

I agree with all of those, except I think Baltimore will beat Tennessee.

I always considered him being *, but he keeps picking the worst possible moments to demonstrate it (except last year's playoffs of course).

i'd like to see the cards win it but to be honest not that fussed since philly ruined everything on the final weekend. eli i wouldn't say is * but he's certainly not as good as he's made out to be. would say hes struggling without plaxico

Oh dear, I was 1 and 3 last weekend with my predictions. :52:

Hopefully I'll make up for it this weekend. Sticking with the Eagles all the way to the big game........where they will be playing...........Pittsburgh.

The Steelers will probably scrape past Baltimore, since it looked last weekend like they were moving the ball quite well. And with a defence as good as theirs I'm predicting a low scoring win. 14-10 or something similar.

    Mon the Eagles!!!

Was very proud of my Dolphins this year. To go from 1-15 to the play-offs in one year was a helluva effort. Well done lads!

Hope the Cardinals win the Superbowl but rather suspect it will be the dull as dishwater Steelers. HAIL HAIL

Now now mate, I was born in Pittsburgh. The Steeltown will surely back our team to a win this coming weekend. Champions!

It was a great game and for once it wasn't all down to the Steelers defence. I'm not the biggest fan of Big Ben, but all credit to him he was immense.

I thought the Cardinals moved the ball as well as anyone has done against the Steelers defence. They just scored a bit too quick on their last drive and left Pittsburgh too much time to go for the TD instead of settling for a field goal and OT.

But one question..why did they not look to Fitzgerald more in the 1st half? He was as unstoppable as ever when the ball was thrown in his direction. It's a pity because I really wanted to see Arizona win. They play the game the way I like to see it played...in the air.

Felt sorry for Arizona after that one. What a heart breaking way to get beat. But all credit to the Pittsburg receiver what a catch over 3 Arizona defenders to win the game.

    NFL 2009 Schedule Release

Have to say the 49ers schedule isn't the worst by a long way. I feel a glorious 8-8 season coming on. :icon_mrgreen:
