The decline was there to see even at the latter stages of Lennon's stint.

When people got on his back about how things are going downhill it was similar back then how people started hating on him for not doing the treble and all sorts.

The issue with Celtic is the motivation to be bothered and that was something I gave Lennon great credit for because I would say there is no one else that could keep the players so motivated as he for a long time.

I said we would miss that trait when he is gone and we clearly do. In all honesty given how the club is run and quality we have available to us I don't see how anyone could do any better because even with Lennon this was starting to happen asked at this point no matter who the manager is they would still be getting a housing from some fans regardless.

Sacking Ronny now would likely lead to sheer embarrassment in the Europa which could be hours only saving grace as well as doing a domestic treble.

Personally I think JK has got to say to RD & JC to bin the zonal marking defending at corners and set pieces for one instance. Get Jozo & Tyler under Lustig wing and get a partnership started before it's too late. Janko should be installed as our new right back with Izzy on the left , he might struggle but he is our best option in their and we missed him on Saturday badly. Tyler is no LB and neither is Mulgrew it is what it is until Jan now so organization is a priority first and foremost

    In competitive games this season:

    Played: 13
    Won: 9
    Drawn: 2
    Lost: 2

Aye definitely a crisis :smiley-laughing002: we are still going to win the league, one loss to Aberdeen where we played dire doesn't change that.

I do agree that it is unacceptable the way we went out to Malmo, but Ronny is the man for the job I'm sure of it, he turned around last season and he will do it again this season. Sacking him is not the answer.

Some nice Blue Cheese :50: And if you didn't think they passed us off the park (in both games no less) you need to smoke something better, Cookie :86:

I still think, with our resources and our, supposedly superior players, we should've wiped the floor with Qarabag. AND Malmo. Malmo have Kari Arnesen playing for them, ffs. An Aberdeen reject when they were *.

We played well for most of the first half against Malmo but that was probably the amazing atmosphere putting them off their game. Second half was pretty much a no-show.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling for Ronny's head, but I am having serious doubts about what he's doing with our team.

Ha ha! We are all celtic fans but all we do is slate each other! Some fans like. Are we not meant to be on the one side and slating the other teams! So many different opinions from everyone that a think is proves just how hard Ronnys job is when he has to go with his!

In a perverse way he is probably right. Even if we did sneak in then the policy would not have allowed for us to add the quality we need. We might have more bodies in the squad though, hoping one would turn good.

The division between supporters is all of his own making.

I guarantee you now Lennon didn't have 100% backing from Celtic fans I no a few who wanted him gone at the time he did that final season was brutal
I bet there's Bayern fans who want Pep gone that's the football world

We beat Maribor and qualify then we add better players, more money in the coffers and helps attract players who would simply say no to a year playing Europa league, same goes for this year against malmo.
These teams shouldn't be there ahead of us, I've repeated that we have more money, better facilities but 2 years running we've fallen at the playoff stage.
I've yet to see deila change that formation once.

Look fella I'm with you 100%, i'm just saying that we probably would have ended up with extra prospects rather than outright quality

So get rid of Ronny then what og? Suddenly turn it around? By then Aberdeen could be even further ahead! Don't think u get how management works! Someone comes in, doesn't know the players whilst season is well on its way! Players are down beat due to manager leaving. It goes on and on! Pre season or when there is no way back! Bet your boss wherever u are has a hard time. In fact a think that u think u are the boss at times. Ronny out classes u, sorry!

It works both ways, sometimes it lifts players when one manager leaves and another comes in.
Exactly how long do you give him?

A think it's easier to see how he does. We are 6 games in.
