That's simply absurd. I am sure you can make the point you are wanting to make with regards to Lennon without going into hyperbole mode over his predecessor.

    A wee bit aye.

I wasn't the only one either. I just saw it as a certainty for some reason.

Aberdeen away, they are in a good run, out to prove a point, we are playing *(even when we had VVD) and now we had 3 out of the 4 at the back who had barely/never played with each other.

I wasn't confident about that game at all. I don't know if having Van Dijk there would have even made me feel different anyway, being honest.

He asked to be judged in a year so my judgement is the sooner he goes the better, the team is weaker, this magical pressing football where is it, and lastly signing the defensive Bangura is the final straw for me, when you are leaving for Norway and take boyata with you

I don't think that's hyperbole, both as a unit and individually as players that team wasn't good enough. Barnes was awful but he had good players and some very good results.

Mowbrays was just all over the place. Lenny took over from and absolute shambles, do you not agree?

Aye you weren't the only one, which is very worrying. Be very easy for a manager to protect a new defence, problem is Ronny doesn't think in terms of how can he get his team to produce the best results, just how can he get them to play well in the formation he likes.

It's one game in the league, yes we've had plenty poor performances but still grind out results.

I'm not saying it's bright and cheery, I've been saying changes need to be made and the key players need to start performing. Obviously Malmo wasn't a big enough kick in balls for them to get them going. But it's not all as doom and gloom as everyone is making it out to be.

Mowbray started well and then the wheels came off. It is preposterous to suggest that it was the worst Celtic side ever. Either you didn't see us during the early-mid 90's with Biggins and co chopping about for us or you are simply going into hypberole mode as I said.

Right, so look at this game in isolation as one game and not, for instance, the Kilmarnock game?

We won the League and Scottish Cup and we were done out of a final against Falkirk because of some woeful refereeing. We were a whisker away.

How do we badly need a striker? We badly need an experienced CB and a better LB. Griffiths has been firing them in, give Ciftci a * chance to get fit and sharp to see what he can do. Allan is just back up really, I said at them time I'd rather Henderson get given a chance but Allan has hardly been in the team.

You're saying we should of bought a striker yet wanting us to play two up top. The system works when the players actually play to the level we know they can, just needs some tweaks to cover the defence a bit more and to create more space in the middle.

I wasn't around for the 90s, but you do realise that Mowbray's team lost 4-0 to St Mirren, right?

I didn't say you explicitly said it. It is clearly what you want going by this moronic comment:

"I will revel in delight when the Daily Record screams from the back page 'CELTIC SACK NORWEGIAN FLOP RONNY DELIA' with the sub-heading 'Experiment goes wrong as Celtic regress: who can steady the Parkhead ship' ..."

You want our manager to get sacked, it would bring you great delight. The only way our manager is going to get sacked is if we drastically flop in the coming months.

I have absolutely no doubt that once things settle down in the next few weeks, we will pick things back up as we did last season. You can then disappear from this forum like you previously did when it was looking good with our manager and our team last season.

Not because of some awful refereeing, we should have been good enough to beat them with or without them getting a man sent off and we weren't good enough to beat them after that. Weak mentally again.

A semi-final defeat isn't a whisker away, real or imagined slights aside.

Oh so we've never had a bad spell of games before? We've played a shitload of games already, new players come in, players injured and out of form. The fault doesn't just lie at the managers feet, it's the whole team. It's not as if they just became * players over the summer, there are excellent young players in the squad with plenty of quality. Still the same midfield and attack that finished last season and easily put 4 past the Sheep at home.

So it's a bad spell of games now and not 'just one game'?

That's your understanding of it so fair enough, but we should have gone 2-0 up (if the penalty was scored) with Inverness down to 10 men. That cannot be denied.

Yup and we should have been good enough to see the game out at 1-0 as well.
