Was going to post this after the Spartak game but forgot, it was just to say it's good to see the wee man is finally picking up his old form after having a pretty poor start to this season and end to last. For me he's been getting closer and closer to what he was like pre all his injuries since the Falkirk game - funnily enough the game after we signed Doumbe up full time.

Been bombing up the wing, getting in good tackles, all he has to do is continue to practice his crossing and he may turn out to be the great defender we all hoped he would be.

 

Very underrated. IMO, one of the best players in the squad.

i think he is a really good player that will only get better

 

A very good full back imo who lost his way a bit understandably after injury.Decent poitional sense,good tackler,sound on the ball and pretty good delivery too most of the time.He's only what 22?And a far better full back than Jackie Mac was at his age.
We still have to see the best of him but could turn out to be a mainstay for years to come.

His crosses are nothing, therefore put Doumbe in to see what he does now.

 

I've always wondered why he's been overshadowed for the scotland team yet Alan Hutton gets in the team after a few good end of season games.Wilsons only problem areas are cross balls(defending them aswell).Its not that he cant cross its just he doesnt cross for the players he just seems to float into areas were players"should" be instead of were they are.Saying that at 22 hes got time on his hands and he seems the kind of lad who wants to improve and from speaking to him am sure he'd stay at this club for the rest of his career.

 

I agree he needs to work on his crosses. They were atrocious in the Spartak game.
Great full back though.

 

Must be the jinx of the right back,Agathe had the same problems.
