Now, he's started by improving their fitness level and team spirit, but Ronny's got to many rubbish players to work with to make "this thing" happen this year (even with a trebble). And by rubbish I mean players that are not improving, that are not football smart enough, lacking technical skill and has general too selvfish approach to the game - which originates from the lack of football smartness.

Luckily Ronny is 100% invested in Celtic, and he's gonna sort it out - over some degree of time. Either by improving the rubbish players - with the respectitive players full commitment to it; or he'll strengthening the squadt. But he'll do this in a smart way, not just throwing cash around.

So it will be up to for example Stokes, Forrest and Griffiths (and Guidetti) to improve into being up to "Celtic standard" in their respective positions on the field.

Why not Efe? Well, he has already improved. From being the worst player I ever did see at a "top level club" during the euro-matches (atleast around that time) into being ok these last 2-3 matches, and cause of the "easy" postitions that he's holding, he mostly "just have to do his part" and pull his weight and not give away chances(!).

While these other players I've listed, they have it tougher, cause they're measured by their efforts to create and perform infront of the goal. And they're not doing really good, are they? Atleast not up to my understanding of a "Celtic level".

Tl;dr: Too many rubbish players in the offensive part of the team. But Ronny will sort this out.

Viking enough. Got this small "lump" in my fist to prove it, which is genetic inherited from the vikings. You'll find this "lump" in mens fists all over Scotland, England and other parts of the world where the vikings went...

Don't know the user on here though.

    Thanks for the oppsummering.

Fisting on a Sunday afternoon? What part of Norway are you from - Farsund?

I don't know who VikingBhoy is either, hence my question. Which I should have directed to him, of course, not you.

Only thing that's here is an old haunted church. People see ghosts there all the time. I think it's mainly because they eat the shrooms that grow there. Which is the same type of shrooms the vikings ate befor they went ashore to do heir plundering.

'an Oslo-Lillestrøm thing' is pretty *-up dialect-wise too, depending on which part of Oslo you're referring to. You're not one of these who mixes 'gaten' and 'venninde' with 'brua' and 'sjæl' are you?

    That's so put-on.

I am aware of that dialect and am even known to use something similar myself at times.

Yet again players let him down for me.

Ronny * up leaving the subs far, far too late though. Should have reacted to the red card but he (and thus the team) just seemed to be in a daze for the 1st half.

Need to act and react quickly as Celtic manager as entire seasons can swing on one moment.

I thought he did the right thing. It could have been easy to get carried away and make a sub that wouldn't have benefited the team and waste a sub early on. Plus the way the game was looking we might have had others sent off

I don't buy that, the 2 most likely players to get sent off in any game are Brown and Johansen (who both got yellows) and he kept them both on. Our bench is nearly all strikers/forward players these days anyway, so pretty much any change would have benefitted the team as we were completely bereft of energy and quality.

Lenny's worst trait was his habitual late subs and Ronny seems to following the same worrying trend. A good manager shouldn't be afraid to make subs in the 1st half if necessary.

We should have gone 3 in the back, kept the rigidity with Bitton and Brown in the middle and tried to force the intiative with Van Dijk gone instead we let them control the 1st half, get a goal then sit on the lead and we almost * it.

Does Ronny make late subs? Seems to make one after an hour in almost every game? Maybe I'm wrong :50:

No mate but he said that Celtic seem to be the only club that has had a guy suspended for diving this season, Derk for three games. After that no player has been suspended, said Utd player dived. He also said that he hadn't seen the VVD incident again. Something that smug we * Tanner found impossible to beleive, he and Michael O'Neill I think it was had a snigger about. Zombie fud!

Aye thought he should have did it right away when Virgil was red carded.

We lost both Bitton and Johansens positional effectiveness, with both sitting deep. Maybe didn't want to risk throwing him in to such an important game.
