I know, right? I'm so glad the people on here have absolutely no say in how the club is run.

I wouldn't want it. I wouldn't like it.I have posted before and I do so again. I was pleased when we appointed Ronny. It showed a new, fresh direction.

The Board will be so scared of the backlash from the Fans with empty seats, loss of revenue and based on the Legia games the thought of us not winning The League would send them over the edge. Oh and don't for one minute think that Peter or one of his cohorts isn't gauging the feelings of the players by having a quick, quiet word with some of the established players...'How are things going?'.

They would convince themselves that January would be too late to do anything and maybe even by November it would be too late, so they would do it now. More than anything, it is the lack of support from the established players that indicates to me that all is not well behind the scenes. They were falling over themselves with 'thank you' quotes to the Press when Neil left.

Will be pleased to be proven wrong but It is how business works and Celtic is a business.

It was on the cards. Can you not remember Bratislava, Sion, Utrecht, Braga etc?

It takes more than 2-3 months for a manager to implement his own playing style on a team and Id imagine even more for Deila considering he hasn't been backed to bring anyone in yet.

I can aye. As far as I'm concerned this tie is worse than them both in terms of performance and obviously result.

Deila has been sold short by the board, no doubt about that but this team as weak as it is should be capable of performing competitively against a side like Legia, we didn't though, we were shafted in both matches and continued playing the same way even though it was blatant it wasn't working.

Let's not forget, both Strachan and Lennon had pretty humiliating exits from Europe in their first season in charge and went on to be hugely successful managers of Celtic

We were always going to concede tonight we was always going to play a high risk game we had to score goals 2 shots on target is a poor return but that's what happens when you have Stokes leading your line in Europe and not Hooper

looking more and more obvious why Collins was brought in, he's the manager in waiting once this goes pear shaped

No thanks. I don't want Collins anywhere near the Celtic manager's job. In fact if there is any truth to these rumours that the Celtic players aren't happy with how things are being done I wouldn't be surprised if Collins was at the heart of it. He's got previous.

Collins is bad news but if Lawwell sacked Ronny he wouldn't pay compensation for another manager he'd just give it to John

Can't argue with that. I like Ronnys manner and think his approach could be a great thing going forward but the team needs to adapt to it. And I think we could have done with some players coming in before now to help with that. The board have played a risky game hoping to scrape through and now Ronny will have a harder time getting the required players in. I really hope he can do what NL and WGS managed after those early Euro struggles but the board will need to give him the necessary backing.

Under Neil Lennon we probably would have competed with Legia a bit better over the two games, although I'm not convinced we would have got through under Neil Lennon against Legia as we have completely stagnated in the last two years. We rode our luck getting through last season and then were embarrassed in the group.

I would like to see how this forum would have reacted after being hammered by Bratislava. I'm sure Strachan would have been slated, called a useless * etc and ended up one of the clubs best ever managers. Who's to say when Deila builds his own team and gets them playing his way he won't do similar?

Yeah, a lot of the hibs players hated him, scott brown included. Collins and brown had a chat at the start of the season to make sure they were on good terms.

At least after the Bratislava tie there were some positives to take, we did nearly come back from 5-0 down. What positives can we take from this tie?

As I said, we'll see what happens in the Europa League play-off. If we lost that, I think we'll be seeded so our opponent won't be a big hitter, then I'll have lost a helluva lot of faith in Deila and I don't think I'll be alone.

I do have faith in him, he talks a good game and his record in his own country is impressive. Sorry if witnessing a record aggregate defeat in Europe to an average side, lessens some of my belief in him.

I totally understand the hurt tonight, writing him off as i have been reading from you and others tonight, i just don't get..
We've had a nightmare week, he's had no help and been kicked under the bus..

It came to early for him but now.he.knows what we've got and he has a helluva lot of.time now to get it how he wants..
If we lose in the europa i won't be calling for his head either..

Delia has NO pedigree to be our manager. It's like an appointment from the league of Ireland. He reminds me of another Pat Fenlon appointment who was also out of his depth. He was a cheap option and not the boards so called original first choice.
