Norwich were interested in taking him down there but not heard anything concrete

Just like our players, someone like Park is going to be recognised for the decent job he's been doing and see offers come in for his services.

I hope he's not leaving though.

True,if the rumours are true that the budget is getting slashed then he would have to work within smaller figures, mammoth ask to find gems for next to nothing.

It might even have been a directors position instead of scout at Norwich. Hope he also doesn't feel he needs a change

This would be great news. If Park goes, Peter Lawwell can be in sole charge of deciding which players we sign.

If he left it wouldn't be the disaster some people are claiming. I'm sure we will still have scouts capable of spotting the talent of the likes of Van Dijk and Wanyama. We have signed some amount of absolute flops under him such as Balde, Bangura, Pukki, Boerrigter and Juarez. Those are just a few that spring to mind. It has been a bit hit and miss at times. The profits on the likes of Wanyama and Ki make up for it. I'm not giving him credit for Hooper as that was Gary Parkers suggestion.

Hate being pedantic but Juarez wasn't a flop before he came to us, he was pretty good. It just so happened though that we never realised he was a fruitcake. :smiley-laughing002:

Did he do anything for us on the pitch ? No. He is the definition of a flop. Good players can be flops as well.

The best part of 3 million quid and all we got for it was a * headache.

Yes he showed potential and scored a few even in our short European campaign ! I would have loved to have seen him and kayal in midfield ! It was his international madness that got him demotaed to the bench nothing else really to show why he never got in the team

He scored one goal against Braga when we were as good as out and done * all for the rest of his Celtic career.

He was a massive flop. He clearly had a serious attitude problem.

Juarez looked a class act at first then after all that controversy happened with Mexico he never recovered.
