Great game last night! Spartak Moscow are a great footballing side,too bad only one team could go through. No one deserved to lose last night! Good luck in the UEFA cup you have a team good enough to win it.

Don’t want to politicize football, but I think the polish commentators were not supporting <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">Russia</st1lace></st1:country-region> last night

 

why should they? Celtic is popular in Poland especially since Boruc and Magic came to Parkhead.

PS. Everytime i meet Russians they ask me if it's true Poles don't like them. Dunno why Russians think so but everything i have to say about that is a one word - 'bollox'.

Agree, politics is BS, if that is what you tried to say. That's why I said I don’t wanna talk about the politics in the forum about football, ‘cause once I start talking about the politics… But seriously, I personally (and most people in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1lace w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Russia</st1:country-region></st1lace>) have nothing against the Poles or any other nation...

 

Dont be too sad you are in the UEFA cup. The best day the club has had in 25 years or more was the Uefa Cup final Celtic v Porto in Seville in 2003. It was a truly unbelievable day even though we lost.

right. just came back after this memorable trip. you lot are amazing at supporting your boys. and i've never felt so welcome by home fans before. the atmosphere at paradise and in pubs after the game was just unbelievable. applaud to our lot from locals walking out of the ground was a shock. huge respect to you lads. u never get respect from * english and i wasnt expecting it from you either.
and what a game it was!!!
i must say thanks to our boys for giving you a hard time even with a man down. champions league will be missing a team like ours.

I just got back an hour ago im so drunk, been out partying all night and day, but holy * what a game Spartak, use guys have such a great team, i was almost crying at one point in the game lol, good luck in the uefa cup use guys.

That was a brilliant game, so emotional, i was really close to a heart attack when VoH hit the bar in extra time. Both teams deserve victory, but... Would like to thank Celtic players for the great game and Glasgow supporters for the unique atmosphere. Unfortunatelly i had to watch the game in moscow pub, but even sitting there i could feel that aura. Thanks to Pletikosa and Pavluchenko, they gave us hope, thanks to all their teammates, even Shishkin... I hope Sunday's derby with CSKA will help us to recover from this collapse. And, good luck, Celtic, wish you other glorious victories in Champions League! Maybe, some day, we'll meet you again... Until next time))

Well... If we were have to loose to get new friends, so let it be, i'd say... =) We'll win next time but friendship will stay forever.

Thought I'll just post a note of "Nice one, lads!" for the Celtic fans. We were made to feel very welcome in Glasgow and the atmosphere at the ground was boss, for shure. I am absolutely gutted about the result and still feel a bit sick thinking about that final penalty; however, it was a great game of football but I can't help but think "If only another couple of our players bothered turning up on the day..."
But anyway, well done and good luck!
