This has been a great match so far. Murray has his game face on tonight, this is the best tennis I've seen him play for months.

Still no good enough to take the first set though. :icon_mrgreen:

He suffered after the slow start, once he went 4-1 down he played the better tennis. Murder in the breaker though.

Cracking match between the two. Murray had a chance at the beginning of the third set but failed to capitalise. Hope Djokovic wins it all.

The first two sets last night were awesome tennis. I have never seen Andy Murray hit his forehand the way he was hitting it in the first two sets last night. I think he must have realised he wasn't physically up to getting involved in a 5 set marathon with Djokovic and so decided to be a lot more aggressive and try to end the points earlier. For a while it looked like that tactic might just work for him. I think Murray began to tire in the 3rd and 4th sets and the moment he began to weaken physically he was done for, Djokovic took control from there.

I'm not sure if Murray will ever 100% recover from the back surgery he had, I hope that he will as the game of tennis needs a healthy Andy Murray. Maybe he can get back to full strength for next year once he has a bit of a break in the winter but I think there must be some slight concern that he may never be able to reach his physical peak again.

Nah I read it, I agree with it but the wink reminded me of why I dislike Djokovic :56:

Good post and I completely agree. Hopefully he does make it back to his best as it is important for the sport. Imagine what a travesty it would be if Murray failed to get back to his best and Nadal was forced out of the game through injury?

Great comeback from Federer last night just the sort of match he needed after a pretty comfortable run so far think he will win it this year back to back grand slam finals wouldn't be bad for a guy everyone is saying is now past his past

Djokovic in a bit of trouble here. 2 sets to 1 down and Nishikori just broke his serve in the 4th set.

Plenty do. Indoor tennis courts are well known for having roofs.
