Real vs Athletico?!?! I assumed that was Real - Barca, there goes my vote

 

Real-Barca or Chelsea- Liverpool or Manu-Chelsea
this matches arent derby
the match which play with the same city's team is derby
for example : ( Real MADRID - Atletico MADRID )

 

Celtic vs Rangers wins it surprised Arsenal vs Tottenham wasn't on that list thats almost as bad as the old firm.

 

You forgot Belgrade derby, Crvena Zvezda vs. Partizan ...

Look up the meaning of the term Derby. And I don't mean the City.

derby doesnt specifically mean city matches but alot of the derbys he has listed are pretty subpar derbys... like man U liverpool are traditional rivals but the numebr one derby p[er se in englan is prolly sunderland newcastle..

oh Flamengo x Vasco from Rio de Janeiro, thats crazy.. specially when Flamengo won 3 Rio State Championships in a row beating Vasco in the final, including a win with a free kick goal in the last minute of the game!

Flamengo needed to beat them 2 goals difference cause of the first leg.. they were winning 2x1 and the goal of the title came with this brilliant Dejan Petkovic's free kick. I know u wont understand but listen to the crazy commentator! lol

Trust me mate "Clasico" in Spanish means classic which is the word they use for derby.

Ok I agree no-one here would call it a derby but if you go to Spain, South America, etc they would say that it is a derby but it's like that bank advert where the peace sign is an insult in some countries just depends where you are and where you're from.

Anyway I'm still regretting accidentally voting for the Madrid derby

True. Barcelona v Real is called something like "Derby of the Universe" (don't know the Spanish words exactly), but they it's not a derby in the pure meaning of the word.

Best City derby I ever went to was the Sheffield Derby. Great match and great atmosphere. Also the Rome derby was great (sadly, I've never been to the Old Firm). One of the most dissapointing derbies was the one between Wets Ham and Millwall. Lots of blabla before the match, but the atmosphere was quite crap.
