The latest news on our side, btw, is as follows:
Some 200 supporters are already in (more than the Hoops managed in Moscow) - and are right now revelling in Edinburgh (some of them wearing kilts) or are out on private tours of the castles and lakes.
The team has also flown in. Everyone's said to be (reasonably) fit (but the stomach bug story has not been a hoax).
Three players are back on the squad after injuries - a Brazilian in defence, a teenager in attack, and a highly pacy-yet-unlucky(-or-dumb) guy to show Wilson and Naylor what speed of sound actually looks like in real life.

We never made handballs, stop making excuses.

You think some poor Spartak team can come to Celtic Park and do what Rooney, Saha, Ronaldo, Giggs, Kaka, Seedorf, Inzaghi, Gilardinho, Pirlo, Simao, Nuno Gomes and Allback couldn't do last season? You think some part timers can come and beat us? Wilson and Naylor will have no problem dealing with this third-rate team.

"Third-rate""? Like the SPL without the Old Firm?
    They certainly won't.
    I agree.
    If you take GWS's

Yes, the Spl would be shocking without the old firm...

How does that offend Celtic? You're praising us if anything, haha.

I don't really understand your post.

Sorry - If you take GSW's words on trust, his descriptions of Spartak these days suggest a level somewhat higher than a "third tier".
But he probably knows nothing about football, or does he?

Also, I have no intent whatsoever to offend Celtic.
Indeed, I have been impressed by your team being so young, skilled and confident.

    Gordon whatever Strachan, I believe.
The red-haired guy who can occasionally be seen with the Bhoys.

    Sorry, didn't know that.
Signing off for the night - they are showing Rangers on public television in an hour. Whom will you be rooting for?
PS. Strange that you choose to call them Huns - yet be so pleased with a Hun-aided draw in Moscow.

That draw was down to skill and skill alone. I for one, don't mind if the ref was German or Protestant, as long as he wasn't a Gers fan ;).

Who'd you think we'll be rooting for? Cmon you Red Star Belgrade!

    That's a good Bhoy!:50:
The Rangers game is about to start. The flag display is awesome. You watching it? Could someone watching tell me in advance if the singing and the visual effects are on a par with those at Celtic Park?
Oh, sh**te, the Serbs just missed an excellent chance to score.
    (finally leaving)

I'm either going to insult you or praise you - I'm not sure....but your command of English is way higher than I would have expected. I began thinking that you might be a hun....but your command of English is way higher than I would have expected.

So if you're not a Russian or a hun, what are you?

    Thank you, Sir. Appreciate that.
Yep, I'm a Russian in Moscow - who just saw (by means of a TV tuner on my PC) a Red Star player shoot a little over the bar.
You can take a look at my posting history to realize that I am not in Glasgow (I broke the poisoning and Korobochka stories on this forum yesterday - long before any of today's Scottish newspapers went to print).
PS. It is just that I have taken a liking to many things British since the Beatles and my first Sherlock Holmes story in my very green years.
And when I say "green", I don't mean "Celtic", mind you.:84:

    Nah!

It's not just your language/spelling - you're too comfortable with the vernacular!

You didn't learn 'whatever' from the Beatles.

Loving your contribution, not trusting your ethnicity....

Just don't force me to write in Russian - cause I can.
PS. Am upset right now though (and have a foreboding about tomorrow nite) - Rangers are thru. They hardly even crossed into the other half of the pitch. But the Red Star were completely unimaginative.
    Too bad.

Ah, but this also means the pressure on the Bhoys will be enormous.
It will mean not only the Champions League for them now - but the SPL race (financially) and local prestige as well.
That may level out our chances tomorrow.

We could ask Kepi some questions. Pictures of well known Russians are better because questions can be checked by google and wikipedia.

Ok, who is my Avatar (picture)??
