Aye, Puyol, Valdes, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Busquets, Pedro, Montoya, Sergi Roberto, Bartra. Even players who were bought back, like Fabregas, Pique and Alba. All trained at Barca up until atleast 16. Terrific Youth System

Which is true, perhaps for them more than any other football club in the world.

They'll get past this just fine hopefully.

good to see uefa hammering them. shows that it doesn't matter how big you are, you still have to abide by the rules of the game.

I'm pretty sure it's just the same as a normal youth team. All the players are owned and can play for Barcelona. Dongou for instance, has made 3 appearances for the first team this season, with one of those being a league appearance, yet he's made 21 appearances for the B team in the segunda.

The emotional split on opinion on Barca on this forum is hilarious.

Their halo has certainly slipped in recent years.

I feel the "split" has more to do with Celtic having been beaten by them a few times in Europe than anything else.

We also seem to hate Juventus as well now :smiley-laughing002:

Juventus are cheating *, that's why we don't like them.

Loads of teams have beaten us in Europe. I don't remember anyone slagging off Milan for instance.

People don't like Barca for loads of reasons, not particularly cos they've beaten us.

I guess success does breed jealousy and hatred, doesn't it? :86:

It's not Juves success that breeds the hate. Was the diving and sneaky bastarding players.

As DC said it's nothing to do with any on-field results - although Neymar being a cheating little * obviously tainted things this season.

It seems like Celtic fans either think Barca are *'s gift to mankind, crafted from pure heavenstone and delivered to us mere mortals to fight against Franco's fascist imperialist terrorism. OR they utterly hate Barca for being holier-than-thou multimillionaires who cheat their way to the top.

    I like Real & Barca tbh :icon_mrgreen:

    "Don't touch La Masia"

La Masia (The Farmhouse) is Barça's youth academy/training facility.

Exactly how I feel! It's pure footballing bliss to sit down with a couple of beers and watch either!

That being said, my casual allegiance has swung towards Madrid over the last 2 years or so.
