McLeish is not a hun for * sake. He's a fair professional. Any suspicion of hun bias is paranoia. Strachan could have chosen to withdraw these players, but I'm sure they all wanted to represent their country. Anyway, come on the Scotland!

FFS it said in the paper this morning that Whittaker and Thomson will be in the next squad . There is a Rangers bias in the national team . The thread i made ( which got closed dont know why ) would have been good to gauge how many people think there is a angers bias

Thats funny how all the huns have been " rested " or " pulled out " ..Barry Ferguson the captain leading by example . Makes me angry this Scotland * 1 week before we play a * £10million game . Mon The South Africans !

You totally avoided what I said.

    W. Smith probably told Eck I'm not playing so and so

Whereas Strachan probably just let them play but maybe said only 45 mins?

Basically all the old firm players over 30 who have been regulars have been rested, i.e. Ferguson, Hartley, Weir and McCulloch.

While the others who haven't cemented their place in the team yet will be involved tnite, i.e. McManus, Caldwell, Brown, Hutton and Boyd.

Stachan's gd enough friends with Eck so I'm sure if he wanted some players rested he would've told him.

No Celtic OR Rangers players should be playing . What a stupid meaningless pointless friendly . Up at Pittodrie all the sheepshaggers will be going . He should have played * like Barry Robson and Darren Mackie and he would have got a sell out

Keeps the players fit and sharp.

As I said: If Strachan didnt want the celtic players to play, he wouldve rested him.

I'm wondering monthehoops, would u be greeting if it was mcgeady and o'dea (if they were 1st team players) got called up for ireland to play...i dunno....bosnia tonight?

Ireland are playing Denmark tonight and i dont know if either have been called up . I dont mind them playing for Ireland . Because there are no Rangers players receiving preferential treatment from Steve Staunton is there ? :shamrock:

Same with Scotland pal, I can't see any bias.

Get it through yer head: MANAGERS OF THE CLUBS HAVE THE SAY WHETHER OR NOT THE PLAYERS WILL PLAY!

I'm sorry lads, but I feel Eck is slightly biased too. Who wouldn't be? He was Rangers managers for 5 years. Surley he won't be wanting to * off the Rangers fans.

To be fair if I was the Scotland manager I'd be bias against rangers players too but at the same time I'm sure the Celtic players are jumping at the chance to earn more caps for their country.

    SO C'MON THE SCOTLAND!

I know this but end of the day Scotland is my nation born and bred. Always want to see them do well, fs I even cracked open the champers when we won gold in the curling.

Im meaning if any player wants to play for their country before their club they are a disgrace . Stephen McManus player for us in a testimonial before he would go for Scotland . A True Celtic man :50::celt_2:
