I think you maybe have some preconceived ideas that are maybe a bit wide of the mark.

Our generation are liberal in our attitude towards *, yes, but if you think we can't separate * and the way we carry on with our mates from the way we view women and the way we treat women, then you're wrong.

Let's not pretend this is a one way street either.

Because a lot of it is simply depraved and it's easy access is * up young people's attitudes towards women and *. What starts off as a 12yo lad secretly watching a video on his laptop of females being degraded in various ways sexually will over time translate in to a generation of * men who see extreme sexual behaviour as normal and women as nothing more than objects who are there to fulfill their sexual desires.

There have been numerous studies done that show the negative effects of internet * on people who view it regularly.

Your points about people accessing it from a young age and getting the wrong idea are quite right but do you really think an * can't separate fantasy from reality?

I'd like to think that my view of women and the way a treat them is very fair and with respect. I also think in my generation women are more open on the subject and will often engage in the "banter" from my experience of it anyways and in my opinion this is a healthy change as it actually promotes equality.

As for TC, I think again it comes down to the slightly older generations, there is never going to be a load of girls ranging from teenage years to early 30's on a football forum. Maybe the number of girls have decreased on here but in my opinion that again comes down to the older generation, of women in this case. If they're annoyed by the behaviour the younger lads on here than that's there problem and a lack of adaption with the times. Long gone are the days were there're loads of young lassies aspiring to be nuns.

 

What I believe is that if young people in their formative years, as they are just discovering their own sexuality and how to handle it and express it, are exposed to extreme material(material that is no more than a click of a mouse away these days) then it can significantly affect their outlook on the opposite * and * itself for the rest of their lives.

We should be looking at ways of making * as hard as possible for people under the age of consent to reach. It's far, far too easy to access right now.

 

Agree with the sentiments above, * is definitely not a realistic portrayal of a normal * life, but its consensual, and frankly i would be * without it!

I also agree that prostitution, organised, not run by pimps or gangs but simply women looking to do 'business' because they enjoy it or looking to make a living, should be legalised.

Certain drugs should also be legalised.

Woman are more empowered now than they have ever been and they have never been freer to express themselves sexually. Someone longing for the glory days of previous generations' attitudes towards woman, whereby they were accepted as inferior citizens who dare not try to have a career or express themselves sexually, perhaps needs to reassess their own stance on the matter.
