Can't believe they're trying to make out as if that hunger striker purposely killed that little girl on the radio.

I don agree with the song been sung at Parkhead but this whole thing has been brilliant, just shows how stupid this new law is.

Much of that blog is laughable, had a particular chuckle at his mention of our behaviour over the past couple of years. His ignorance over the Dundee and Amsterdam 'riots' is understandable, he's just lapped up the media spin on it, but even the media condemned the police after our 'illegal march', when 200 fans on a peaceful protest were met by physical aggression from 200 police on foot as well as numerous mounted officers and vans. But aye, it was all our fault

    FANS AGAINST CRIMINALISATION
<hr>The Wolfe Tones are happy to support the ongoing efforts to highlight the injustice of trying to criminalise someone for singing a song. The songs and ballads of Ireland reflect history, they are not sectarian but are a viewpoint on an aspect of Irish history. It has always been the work of the balladmaker to record the times they have lived in via the medium of the ballad. This is a centuries old tradition and one which poses no threat to anyone. We will continue to highlight any such injustices, singing a historical song is not, and should not be, a criminal act. A few years ago, I wrote an open letter to Celtic FC in relation to this very issue, you can read it here: www.wolfetonesofficialsite.com/statement.htm

To be fair you do have to have permission for a march/large gathering. I didn't advise some of this beforehand as I knew it would attract negative coverage.

Fans can demonstrate and match legally if they comply with rules.

Anyone know what happened to the song? It was at no 24 last week, but dropped out of the Top 40. Strange that it has disappeared so quickly. Do new entries in the charts not usually attract more followers and climb upwards? I know of a lot of people who were not aware of the release and intended on downloading the single when they saw it in the charts.
