The accident actually happened during the previous game - the one with Arsenal, which took place in dense fog. The 12th player is a long-standing myth, you can search the Guardian and can still find it there in their questions-and-answers section. But this is how the Glasgow Evening Times saw it at the time: "A player went off the field and another passed him on the way to the pitch". They made up things later.

My primary worry is your own Boruc. But even if he has already recovered, he will still need time to get the feel of play anyway. I also hope that Kennedy will be off (whatever they say, the plastic carpet does affect your joints).
WGS said there's no-one injured among the Hoops, just a couple of boys missing last day's training due to bruises they had gotten when playing on Saturday.
Our problems at the moment are much more daunting, alas.
Let me tell you merely about one. Prolific striker Roman Pavlyuchenko had a palm bone crack when a defender inadvertently kicked him in an away weekend game (he still scored his goal later on in the match, the 1,000th in the Russian championships overall, though, braving the pain). He's been cleared to train with a kind of special cast, but, I believe, a further greenlight will be needed from UEFA.

Fandel was appointed to referee the 2007 UEFA Champions League fnal between Milan and Liverpool at Athens, as well as Euro 2008 qualifying game between Denmark and Sweden in Copenhagen.
Fandel awarded Sweden a penalty kick and sent off Danish player, then Danish fan ran on the pitch and attacked Fandel.

Just occasional irate talking to the referee, nothing more.
We are not in the "rough 'em up" mode, never been our style.
    We are a "clean" team.
    Not like CSCUM.

Most of the yellow cards, again, are from pulling the jersey off and running to the stands to celebrate a goal. ))

Despite the Internet booking and door-to-door delivery options being readily available (at an extra cost), many people still prefer buying their tickets the old way - through conventional ticket booths (season ticket holders are entitled to a 10% discount).
According to reports coming in, they have to queue up for one and a half hours to get their admission slips. Between 50 and 60 thousand are tentatively expected.

Just officially in (so no need to conceal): Pavlyuchenko will play (90%), cause the problem was not with a bone but with "osseous tissue" whatever that means.

jvoh up on his own with Brown and donati supporting with runs from midfield.
if we can get a nil nil then fine. but i'd be happiest with a 1 - 1 ,if we cant win it.

Without insults, but we shall crush you, and with the account 2:0 or 3:0, you should understand, that Spartak one of the strongest commands, at us a command powerful which knows that wants. In any situation football players can turn a course of game to own advantage.

You will crush us? I doubt it. Celtic are by far the favourites to qualify.

Bit of a * having to even need to play a qualifier

considering the team is in mid-transition we will have to get right to the tempo needed , this mob will look to exploit that

IF this game was later in the year i wouldnt mind as much, as we would be match fit and on level pegging with them. But to have twos teams in much different levels of fittness in a knouckout is unfair
