Haha! A Strømsgodset player was down after a crash. Henderson thought him getting back to his feet was taking too long, so he lifted him from the ground. The comentairies on the tv were amused: "Henderson: Started as a sub for Rosenborg and is now chief medic at Strømsgodset!" :smiley-laughing002:

Henderson played well the 20 minutes he got (~5min added). Dribbled past a few players a couple of times and was always available for a pass. He should be getting more minutes IMO

He was very good I thought, pretty confident he'll get more game time

Great reporting back to us lads :icon_mrgreen:

Really hope this loan is successful, we need proper players to come through our youth system and play well.

There is still hope for McGregor but I reckon Liam is the one to fulfill his potential here.

If he dies not get more game time he would be as well staying with Celtic and paying the odd 20 mins here and there.

    Didn't even notice that :smiley-laughing002:

He's only been there for two weeks and will get more game time. He'll probably get his first start on Wednesday in the 1st round of the Norwegian Cup but that's against a fifth-tier team Vuku so it'll be more like a training session. I think he'll gradually get more game time in the league. His main competitor is Midtsjø, who was very good in the first two games but mediocre today. Their squad is so thin that he'll have no problem getting more minutes on the pitch

Regardless of game time spending time training and living in another Country, as a teenager, will be absolutely invaluable to him as a player and a person.

This . He should be enjoying the change of culture/lifestyle. Seems a fairly sensible/grounded lad and hopefully he will mature even more over there . Reduces the risk of him Tony Watting .

Came on here to say this exact thing.

Our bench had little or no quality on it today and with Commons having an off day Henderson would have been the ideal swap.

May not have changed the result but looks like a very poor decision.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

He wouldn't have made much difference, it's nit picking to start saying stuff like "we shouldn't have loaned him out" just because of today's defeat.

Of course it is but the management team are paid a lot of money as they should know the limits of the squad.

Our bench was * poor today and Henderson would have been a good addition. We knew the Dundee Utd boys couldn't play and the squad must be running on empty, I'd rather win the treble this season than see him get a few games in Norway.

Have said the same in a few threads, we needed his energy today and ability.

It's a pretty big game to leave ourselves short of options, it's not our right to win these games we need all the tools at our disposal to achieve victory.

Would have been great to bring on today full of energy and drives at the opposition every chance he gets. Hope he benefits from the loan and comes back stronger see him as a first pick in a couple of seasons if he keeps progressing.

I don't think he'd have made as much of a difference as some are pointing out though.

Aye, he's a better option than Tonev but so am I.

He lost a competition in training so he had to eat with keeper gloves on :smiley-laughing002:

It's a joke I guess because in Norwegian easy saves are called "keeper food"
