Delighted for him. Hopefully he gets a tonne of game time. Its a great end of the season for the wee man, great experience.

 

Really surprised at this, but fair enough if he's going to get a start every week and progress quicker.

 

One of 3 things will happen:

1) He'll play every game

2) He'll play some

3) He'll play none

1 and 2 are most likely since the Rosenborg midfield is half * (though Jensen is good enough for Celtic, maybe even Helland who looks like having a massive season).

But the thing is, either way, he'll grow as a person out of his experience. What is he? 18? It's like having a go abroad when you're in school. Even the thickest joker smartens up his act when doing this. And I think that's Deila's priority in this.

 

Pity that he'll miss the treble celebrations.

Good move though, needs to be playing.

Henderson doesn't seem like a wee * though, so aye this should do him wonders.

 

He trained with Rosenborg for the first time today. He won't start on Monday when the league starts, but apparently he did well and impressed

 

It's looking like a mistake to have loaned him out now. I think we were caught by surprise with the news Mulgrew is out for the foreseeable future, I'm sure I read somewhere that he was due back soon.

Now we are looking a bit thin in the midfield two and need to hope Bitton and Broony stay fit or else we might be seeing more of Johansen in there.

 

We the fans maybe but I don't think Ronny & the staff would have been.

Like Ronny said, if he was being selfish he would have kept him here but it's probably what is best for Henderson.

 

To be fair as well, Ronny has never used him in central midfield.

Armstrong has to go there if broony is out, if not then I'd much rather a Thomson, Lindsay was put in instead of limiting us and johansens ability by pushing him back..
