Aye, McGregor looks short of confidence but I do think Henderson looks a step above him. Not just ability wise but with his attitude on the pitch.

I think McGregor looks like he could be doing with another season on loan TBH, which is worrying as he is 22 this year.

The best thing about Henderson is he a few years younger than the likes of McGregor yet physically he looks far more equipped to deal with first team football at Celtic. Not only is he bigger but he uses his frame as well.

Aye, he was bullying people off the ball at Kilmarnock. For quite a skinny 18 year old that shows good awareness on how to use the strength he has. He strikes me as a clever player.

McGregor... I don't know. He looks a shadow of what he was at the start of the season.

I've always liked Henderson. One of the Celtic players who knows when and to whom to give a pass. Seems to have a natural instinct and timing to shoot into the net.

Would like to see him tried next to Brown, he has the power, skill and believe he would do a job better protecting the defence. As well as making good runs into the box.

Exciting and should be in every squad.

I just think Mcgregor isn't a good player at all. Even at the beginning of the season, aye he was scoring but he was playing extremely well.

We're better off just selling him.

    Agreed.

Henderson and Brown should be the pairing from now on.

Yea i def see him as a central midfielder too. Probably getting shoved wide at times bcos of injuries to the wingers.(Constant Injuries) * everybody has had a chance on the wings lately !!!
Eye for goal and can see a pass. I liked the way he seems stronger on the ball this season too. Long may it continue :celt_2:

It wasn't his goals that impressed me at the start of the season, it was his positioning, he always made space to be on the ball for himself and he was constantly finding players with the ball. He's hiding just now.

Admittedly he was better then than now but I never really thought he had it in him to be a regular.

Aye, I kinda agree there but I was hoping he'd be a positive to the squad. He isn't at the moment.

He's another who has been tried on the wing, he's not a winger either.

McGregor would be much better in a central role. Would probably fit best in Johansen's position, making runs from a central area.

He's not performed well but to me he's not a wide player, so the criticism is a little harsh imo.

I don't think he's suited for Johansens position, we tried him there a few times and he was awful. Maybe from deeper in central midfield but not as the one that the teams built around.

Aye I know what your saying, don't think he fits into to our current 4-2-3-1 system, which could be a problem for his future. He's certainly no winger.

Edit: don't actually remember him being tried in that central role.

I'll be surprised if he really has a future here. It's best for both parties if he moves on. Maybe a return to Notts County or a team like that.

Think it was against Dundee? Might have been the Inverness game.

Aye you could be right its a shame because he was the highlight of a very poor start to the season.

I hope that Henderson doesnt go out on loan and is giving a chance to battle for a midfield slot. Has shown a desire to learn and progress. The best place for him to develop is in our squad.
