Thought I'd start a thread for TC members to post and say what book they are (or have) been reading. I've just finished 'Ayrton Senna, The Hard Edge of Genius' by Christopher Hilton. I'd say it's a pretty good book, Hilton is a well known motorsports author and gives an insightful look into an exceptionally talented and extremely driven man who was often very misunderstood by those both within and outside motorsport.

I've been reading Bill Bryson's Short History of Nearly Everything but can't seem to get into it. Might just give it up and read Glue by Irvine Welsh again. Lost count ow many times i've read it. going to be a bit controversial and say its better than Trainspotting!!!

Sounds very deep reading croatiatim. Ive just read Guns And Ganja- the secret life of Bob Marley, by his manager Don Taylor. Some interesting stories, dont know if its all true because of the controversy surroundin Bob's millions, but the ghetto justice story was amazin, after Bob and Don were shot and the police didnt catch the attempted assasins. Would recommend it.

I am currently reading 'Tommy' by Richard Holmes, exploring trench warfare from the eyes of the british infantry man. Pretty heavy reading, unlike Bravo Two Zero by Andy McNabb which gets better with every read (Partridge)

  10. I can never concentrate on normal books. For some reason, they always have to be about Celtic or Football for me to be interested! Think the last normal book I started and finished was when I was about 7 and we had to read books at School. Just read or flick through the pictures of magazines, especially the Zoo and Nuts magazines! lol! Had a 'If you're Proud To Be A Leeds Fan' book all the way through a few years ago and found that very interesting because it was all about the fan's thoughts on a season. If they had Celtic books like that I'd have a massive collection.
