    Seriously?

If Sevco were here we would turn a blind eye to fan harrassment, supporters getting chapped up at 6am for singing a song, met at the airport by plod after a family holiday and generally treated like *?

All that would be an afterthought if the huns were in the league?

    Do you really believe that?

A game against the Huns in the Scotish Cup would be right up my street.....I know I'll get shot down in flames here but a game against them would bring a wee bit of excitement to the season.....would love to pump there mediocre first division standard team

Of course we would. It would still be an issue but I can see where you are coming from. It would certainly be discussed less as there would be more interest on the actual football itself.

    pile of *.

You think us supporters only look out for one another because the huns aren't in the league?

You are becoming a parody of yourself now.

The Huns have only one special attribute that the rest of the SPL
lack, the ability to cheat and con their way to the top of Football
in Scotland . I certainly won't fret and look forward to the Huns
return . There is only so much financial fiddling, referees and
assistants helping the blue men and so much assistance from the
blue man in Scottish Football that a Celt can take .

It's completely lost it's buzz for me. Trying to keep undefeated has potential, but that'll only really create a buzz for the last few games. We're not playing exciting football, and we're playing in a league almost entirely made up of non-international players outside our own team.

Will you read what was said. I said of course it would still be an issue. Maybe you should read the post before you start getting all passive aggressive.

Nothing passive about what I said.

You said people wouldn't care as much if there was more of a challenge.

Says more about you than anything.

How can the season possibly have lost the buzz when it's January, the transfer window is open and it's a hot topic currently?

Honestly mate i'm no gettin' at you or anyone in particular..I dunno what age you are but it seems to me that life is too fast nowadays, people expect too much and get bored too easily..i blame technology, Ipad's, Xbox's, 3D TV,,entertainment has moved into realms beyond my wildest dreams as a kid.
Football has been engulfed by the entertainment business..TV companies pile big bucks into England etc.. and charge ludicrous prices which has by and large priced the average punter oot the game.
We all love to watch the top players and see the perfect match but the reallity is that it's not always possible even for clubs in the lower half of the EPL never mind Scotland.
We really expect far too much, Celtic are working a minor miracle just to keep up with the big guns as much as they have. When i was a wean the excitement a Celtic game brought to me was the sights, the smells, the sounds on a match day,the pish, the pies, foul language and an honest game of football without all the media razzamatazz.
I'm glad i was born when i was cos i've seen so many changes over the years in football for good and bad and i'm by no means an old fart.
Naw, i'll stick wae my principles and won't let the new age supporters expectations cloud my outlook on what the beautiful game is really all about and not what it's become.

    Celtic til' i die :ynwacelti

Yes. Partly because of the absolute * standard of football that has been played in the vast majority of games but mainly because fans who want to keep doing what we have been doing since the day we were formed have been basically told we are not wanted at the club. To be perfectly honest, it has * me off that much that I don't really care anymore. I'm drifting away from the club. Where is the attraction? I can only see this campaign against the support continuing and when Neil Lennon - who I thought was one of us - doesn't have the balls to stick up for you and puts the boots in even more then I really cannot be arsed with it anymore

One thing I will say though. I really can't understand this argument about having no competition. Where people complaining when we ran away with the league with Marty and in Strachans first season? Were you's *. You's were loving it like the rest of us so why does it matter this season and last season when we were doing it? People are more concerned about beating Rangers than Celtic winning. Their support of Celtic is dependent on their hatred of Rangers

I want us to go into every season with the aim of demolishing everything in sight while providing good football for us to watch. I couldn't give a * who it is we have to demolish
