As for reporting crimes, wouldn't think twice about reporting child abuse, rape etc... even my own family members without hesitation.

Murder it would have to depend on the circumstances.

Everything else I wouldn't get involved if it didn't concern me.

    Agreed.
I preferred the country when the paramilitary's where the police force, there was no * about then, if you where stealing or a * you got a bullet in the knee, if you where a rapist you could be pretty sure you will get the bullet in the head.

I would report assault, theft, murder, rape, child abuse, animal abuse and serious vandalism.

    Yes.
But if your in cohoots with the senior people in the police you are unlikely to get arrested and prosecuted either.

What if everyone thought you were a rapist because some lassie said so but you didn't do it and never went anywhere near her?

There are many, many things wrong with how the paramilitaries see things but I would still go to them before that other shower of *

    True enough.
Im sure it happened before, although from what i recall girls didn't come out and say that sort of stuff back in the day, for fear of being found out, or worse again having an innocent person shot.

Or else the poor guy was just shot in the head and that was that. It'd be an easy way to get rid of someone you don't like.

I would not report a thief to the police.

I would rather see them battered or knees blown off.

The law is an associate and current punishment does not deter thieving scumbags.

For those who are in love.....
I've never phoned the police or anyone in my life..

I hate them, they usually hated me overall so * them..

I always try and sort out my own problems and those around me family and stuff ourselves,if I/we can't I'll usually get someone else to..

I don't know where I'd draw the line as I've never done it even over some pretty bad crimes..

One little quick instant here(over not a terrible one)is exactly why I personally find it better with street justice..
My uncles local he's 60 odd now used to get a wrong crowd in there, basically one night this kickboxer bully played up in the pub started murders glassing a couple locals in an argument and pool balls in socks and went mental,he eventually got pushed out with his cronies by the whole pub who tooled up with ques..
Now this guy was a dirty * but could handle himself and knew it..
Waited in a lane that leads to the pub from a main road behind some bushes and jumped my uncle about a week later and they done him, even though he was an old man and hardly did a thing the night they played up..

Anyway my uncle lives right near the pub so he was walking long ways home and having to watch his back constantly on his own doorstep with fear..

I didn't find out for a long time after that this had happened through his missus that was worried and when I did I was raging but I had to box smart here as this would come back on all of us if not done properly..
This guy wasn't just a good kickboxer he always carried something so I was told..
Spoke to my pal who knew him well from young days but hated him as they got older, told him exactly what he did and how old my uncle was and he was raging and went out in the same area that night looking for him, caught him late in an estate stuck something in the guys mouth and he literally * himself saying he didn't know it was his family(my pal made out my uncle was his and we were cousins)..
Seen the guy loads since and he looks at the floor everytime and when my uncles seen him..

Now I'm not gonna lie this guy would hammer me to bits so I didn't really wanna have to try and do it myself so was relieved when he * himself..
    Job done..

If the police got involved with that my uncle would have had major problems after,no doubt about it..

Only time I'd get police involved is murder, sexual crimes or where someone is in danger and I'm not in a position to help.

To use an example if I heard the guy next door battering or raping his missus, I'd be more likely to kick in his door and take a bat to him. For many reasons but for starters the conviction rates for rape and domestic abuse are so low the * would probably get off and be able to do it again. However, I imagine its difficult to attack someone if your ribs are broken.

Wearing a hoodie and looking dodgy should be enough for a call to the cops :icon_mrgreen:
