    At first when I read this I thought it was Norfolk, VA which IS a very large US military base.

    The British Army is still a close ally of the United States.

    They do a lot of drills and exercises together. They even share bases together in some parts of the world.

    This was obviously some freak accident. They said it could be cause by birds ? Should a flock of birds really be bringing down a military helicopter ?
