That Rudolphus reminded me. Van Hooijdonk, Van Nistelrooy and Vennegoor of Hesselink all have Johannes in their names.

Van Nistelrooys name is Rutgerus Johannes Martinus van Nistelrooy, Pierres is
Petrus Ferdinandus Johannes van Hooijdonk and Jan's is
    Johannes Vennegoor of Hesselink.

Cruyff is also called Hendrik Johannes Cruyff and Neeskens is called Johannes Neeskens.

We should start signing Dutch * with Johannes in their name :56:

Coincidentally a Basque too, like him more now, although not sure about him representing France though. He was a * legend, his name is lethal, wish I was called lizarazu! :smiley-laughing002:

Cafu has the middle name Evangelista and Sócrates had the middle name Brasileiro ("Brazilian") just in case you didn't know where he came from :smiley-laughing002:

I'm sure he scored against us for Bayern when MON was in charge.

Fantastic player as well. One of the best left backs I've ever seen.

Anyone that played for Parma in the 1990's: Lilian Thuram, Dino Baggio, Roberto Sensini, Antonio Benarrivo. What a team.

If you ever played one of the early FIFA games and picked Celtic you automatically got drawn against Parma ( literally every time) and until you got good at it Ortega would score against you.

He did, made Hedman look quite silly that night. Could have got a famous win.

Another couple, Alfonso Alves, burst onto the scene with four goals for Middlesborough against Man City and was * afterwards, and Abel Xavier, who was always just *.
