No clean slate. I think they are cleared again after this round for the group stages as well.

I take it you lot been reading O'Connor's wonderfully fear-inspiring interview about the said "plastic" pitch, that the English press latched onto a few weeks ago as an excuse for a whinge. A decent astro nowadays is not exactly the end of the world.

The pitch should not be an excuse. Celtic use indoor pitches when training, its not going to mystify them.

The real problem is that they are well into their season, their fitness level and their understanding of each other is going to be better than ours. Far from mission impossible though

Just thought I'd add that it's not actually Spartak's fault - it's not their stadium. They've never owned their own ground lol

Our stadium will be constructed to 2009. While we play Luzniki on plastic pitch. In Luzniki will pass the Final of CL in this season, therefore conditions will be good.

The odds are stacked against us
They are well into their season and the plastic pitch will be to their advantage
My only hope is were still in the tie and at CP the cauldron of noise sweeps them away . Just noticed they have Quincy Owusu Abeyie who used to play with Arsenal

Celtic park is a cauldron of noise on CL nights
I remember the Artmedia home game ....everybody got behind the team and they shat themselves if it wasnt for bad luck we would have gone through

When away teams pass the ball around at CP everybody boos and whistles and jeers this is when our players RAISE heir game and the opposition become frightened . Just ask Liverpool , Juventus , Barcelona etc

So its the fans who are to blame. Why is the atmosphere only good on CL nights then? Why against the teams we need to beat to get ourselves on that level does the support remain quiet?

Why was there no YNWA yesterday?
The first day of the new campaign we raised the flag aloft yet the roof was never in danger of being blew off CP.

I think some people just turn up and look like they cant be bothered . We need a singing section ( standing section ) behind the goals like the Ultras have . So we can stand up and wave flags banners scarves etc and make more noise . Let the prawn sandwhich brigade sit somewhere else

I dont understand why there is ANY empty seats from season card holders . If you cant go give the ticket to a celtic supporting friend or neighbour or sumthing fs :celt_2:
