Went down a few weeks ago to the cinema to see gravity it cost 2 of us £26 for tickets and £12 for food....absolutely shocking....I understand that piracy is to blame...for some of it yes but these prices are ridiculous now....do you feel as if you are getting pushed into downloading now?....I am more than I used to now.......due to the fact its far to expense.

Can't be arsed going to the pictures.

People are too annoying. The noise of wrappers when it goes quiet, folk laughing at hit that isn't funny etc

Hate the cinema. I like to lounge about whilst watching a movie, with the added option of a houk with a ragged thumb nail. You don't get that at Vue.

What cinema did you go to that costs 13 quid per ticket?! Cineworld is like 7/8 quid for an *, vue is almost 9 quid, nowhere near 13 quid.

As a student i can go to the vue for £3.90.

find a ceaper cinema, most are about £8 just over 10 for 3d. get to a local shop on the way there and stock up on whatever you want to eat, it will be a fraction of the price and they can't stop you taking it in. if you can get to a film that starts before 6pm, these are still regarded as matinee performances and so are cheaper. hope this helps ya tight b.......

Going to the cinema is a far better experience.

Never illegally downloaded a film in my life. The fact I don't know how to may have something to do with that though! :smiley-laughing002: :52:

Last time I went was at the Showcase in Linwood. The film I have no idea, but managed to get a student discount.

Slightly off-topic but Do people believe that actors pay for films is acceptable?? Just that many people take offence at the wages of footballers and yet both professions are essentially peoples entertainment.

Last time i went with the wife and our daughter to see Cars 2. £14 for adults and £8 for kid.
That plus snacks/drinks in there and then dinner out afterwards you have * all left from £100. Not cheap.

Not been since then. I'd rather wait for the film to be on Sky now. Then buy some El Paso nachos and Doritos and dips and crowd round the telly.

Last time I went to the cinema was for The Dark Knight Rises. I didn't pay though, before that I can't remember what the film was but it was probably like five years before that.

    Way to expensive.
