:86: hm, ok, let me tell you about our main squad

    Goalkeeper:

    croatian international Stipe Pletkiosa

    Defenders:

    czech NT Martin Jiranek
    czech NT Radoslav Kovac
    austrian NT Martin Stranzl
    russian youngster Roman Shishkin

    Midfielders:

    brazilian Santos Mozart
russian NT Vladimir Bystrov (this winger will make lots of problems for you)
russian youngster Dmitry Torbinsky (but he already have caps for main russian NT team)
russian experienced veteran Egor Titov - a mix of class and skills, not some speedy player, but he can make a brilliant pass and even score himself (he scored 5 of 6 goals with head in 15 matches this season.

    Strikers:
russian NT Roman Pavlyuchenko - a stable striker who scores not less than 15-18 goals per season in our league and scored some goals in 2006/07 CL
russian U19 wonderkid Alexandr Prudnikov, he scored his first goal in his first ever match (winning goal!) when he came on sub this season in end of match and currently he has like 4 goals for main squad in 5 matches, he's one of european most hot prospects, and he plays in world dream team of his age together with spanish striker Bojan. Chelsea bidded for him not that long ago but got rejected.
brazilian young player Welliton, realy i didn't see him live, we just signed him from Goias, but he seems to be quality

Its good we are away from home first would take a 2-1 defeat in russia. A draw would be great. Russian teams dont travel that well. And it will belcome * 2 weeks later at a packed and very loud celtic park.

No football city in Europe does noise like glasgow,

I hope we won't see Owusu-Abeyie on the field one more time :))))

There's some players you've forgot. Vladimir Bystrov, Dmitry Torbinsky and Roman Pavlyuchenko are from the russian national team. Stepe Pletikosa is croatian nationalteam goalkeper. Radoslav Kovac and Martik Jiranek are from czech national team (Inter was interested in Kovac this summer, but they would not pay 15 million euro for him). Kalinichenko is from the ukrainian national team... and so on :)

Anyone know how long before we get confirmed dates when we will be playing? Need to maybe do a few shift swaps to try and catch the game.

Pletikosa-keeper of national Croatia team, good keeper but of course Boruc is better.
Kovac and Stranzl are nice couple of centre defenders, brilliant headers(it will be need for game against Venegoor), but wing backs...Shishkin is very young, makes mistakes, not strength physically.Soava is nominal defence midfielder and not very good left back.May be we'll buy new left back.BTW, Inter is oficcial interesting in Kovac.
Mozart was captain of Reggina, Juve wanted to buy him couple of years ago.Good midfielder but his type is not Gattuso, may be Pirlo. He is not clear defence midfielder. He and Torbinskiy make a free kicks in our team.
Titov is our symbol, captain, playmaker, brilliant pass, good header.
IMHO our best players are Torbinskyi and Bystrov now.Fast guys with great dribbling-there will be many fouls against them,i'm sure.
Strikers are not very good.Pavlychenko is best striker in Russia but his strongest quality is headers, against Celtic it will not be very useful.
Second striker...i don't know now who will be him.I don't think it will be a problem.
Quincy...hahahaha)) he has trainings when he wants. It's possible in Spartak. In Russia somebody names us "funny team".
Our supporters- fratria.ru.It's best in Russia.
Last year our team went to match vs Inter Milan by...underground!Cause it's crazy traffic in Moscow.
I can give some links to videos of our players and when our team was in underground, great fighting in football pitch in Russia where are Jarosik and our defender Geder. But i don't know does it resolve here.
BTW, Jarosik played for our rivals CSKA.
Couple of questions: Boruc will play in 1th match?Any injuries and suspensions?Who will play in positions of right back and left back in your team?
    Thanks,sorry for my bad english.

Should be within the next few hours I would think. I'll be ferociously refreshing uefa.com as I know ryanair will up the prices of the flights as soon as the dates are made, so want to get cheap flights before they do up the prices.

So 1 win in the Champions League, hmm this might not be horrible after all.

This is what my team would be for the away game:

    Brown

    Wilson - Balde - McManus - Naylor

    Naka - Brown - Jarosik - Donati - McGeady

    J'VoH

Let's see how many of you show up after you've been knocked out of Europe in Glasgow :)
In addition, you haven't won the Russian league since 2001. Best In Russia? You're having a laugh!

    Hi
Why are you guys think that the plastic pitch gives advantage to our team? And it is not a question of that we used to play our home games on it. The quality of the pitch is quite equal to common pitch. The only moments when it makes troubles is when it is hot 'cause it is hard to breath playing on the plastic pitch. But we will play in the evening and it won't work.
You should watch out for Bystrov. If you've got a weak left defender he will use it.

Sorry for the flame fest by some our fans.:87:
